help with my hunter

long story short my current dps is 70-90k off my sims which are at 311k. i try my hardest to stick the the rotation in the guide but still not doing the numbers i want. So im here and hoping fresher eyes on the logs will pinpoint my errors.

Well I'm not a theory crafter or even that into wow enough to get too technical about dps, but One thing that made playing a hunter better to me and has helped me to stay in groups (not get kicked) is I use ovale and spell flash Core. Now I'm the player that the other people that will post on here, dont want playing because I don't even know what logs are. I just do what noxxic and icy Veins suggests, run ovals and spell flash core, and just be happy the groups don't vote kick me. If you are a bit more sophisticated with wow, then just ignore this.

If i compare the first two bosses (pure ST, little movement) our rotations, hittimer etc. quite match. What's strange: While I'm at 97-99% perfection for my ilvl group (850) you sit at 39-46% for yours (857/859). In both fights i outdps you by about 40k (and I was dead for 17 secs on Nythendra).

Okay, i got the arcway mail set which is very strong but i dont think it equals ~8 ilvl PLUS 40k dps.

I cannot check your weapon on armory because you're BM specced atm - maybe you have decent gear but your relics are way behind? Oh, and your 2nd Trinket "Twisting Wind" ilvl 835... it's CRAP! Get another and get it quick.

yeah havnt had much luck on trinkets as far as the relics 2 8-65 and 1 855 but only 1 is for a dps trait and just got my third gold skill

Hello fellow Hunters,

as usual i connect to similar topics when i can, so here i am with my own new help request.

First of all, please remember i am a new player, never played hunter before, so try to be not too rude ;)

The fact is my logs rankings on bracket are always GRAY and i would like to get some suggestions on how to improve.

When i was playing my Lock on Draenor (my first toon ever in wow) i was sitting around Violet/Blue rankings instead (even on bracket)

so i do not think i'm completely retarded (maybe just a bit).

In detail i think my bigger mistake is with the "downtime", meaning that i realize i basically fire a single Aimed Shot only during the Vulnerable debuff. Also i understand that being dead does not allow me to benefit from our good execute phase, but this issue is something you cannot actually help me with.

My gear is decent thou (as i am playing a lot for my usual standards) and i know i have some troubles with opener sometimes as well.

Also, i was thinking about this possibility:

Would you be so kind to give me an idea of your ST training dummie performance. As you can see on my previous post i'm 861ilv quite Mastery heavy and with all three gloden traits on the artifact (889 ilvl) so it will be wonderful for me to compare result on a similar basis.

I understand we look forward to raid environement DPS, but i believe i'll start back to basis to try learning rotation and downtime management at least in a confortable scenario. Tonight i'll do some testing there and i'll come back to you with numbers ;)

This. You have to use your Aimed Shot more often.

And In fights you can only use Trueshot once try so sync it with Bloodlust in Execute Phase below 20% health! That's a huge amount of dps gain!

At Ursoc normal (the fight is like a dummy fight) your dps was 235k and in execute phase your highest peak was about 400k. My dps was 341k dps due to the fact that my highest peak in execute phase was more than 1 mio dps (and I could use Trueshot twice) - 3 ilvl below yours.

after one week i am coming back to you other logs. Results are starting to get better, but still i'm far from the 50% on bracket

that i'll like to achieve, also because i'm getting lucky drops and my ilvl increases faster than my capability to handle my hunter.
