Need help with Assassination DPS

Hey!

I am in need of some guidance for my Assassination DPS. Last week I respecced from Outlaw so my AL is(Also due to lazyness) only lvl 19. Anyhow, I have been struggling to lay out high DPS now for some time, and no matter how much I read or try to change I just seem to be a bit low. My wowprogress simDPS says it should be around 290k, but still only laying out about 220-270k DPS depening on boss and RNG. Currently going for EP/Exs, but is EP/AP maybe a better choice for me? Should I be changing stats or just switch talents to a more fitting match? Would a Legendary benefit my DPS greatly or slightly? My iLvl is 868 so I feel like I should atleast be pulling stable over 300k+ on average without a problem, but maybe I'm wrong. Something that I am doing is obviously not correct, and it's not my rotation because that one is on Point. If anybody has a tip on how I can improve and change my character to get more DPS I'd appreciate it a lot!

Without Logs I can't really tell you where you can improve.

If you can provide some of those I'll be able to actually see what you're doing, but until then my hands are tied.

      Just looking for some general advice as to what I and the other rogue in our guild may be doing wrong as assassination in HFC

      (Can pretty much disregard shadow-lord for my part, died to shakram. No instant poison at start, just generally terrible)
      I do notice myself, or noticed that cooldown alignment was pretty terrible on socrethar due to the fact I wasted a lot of time on them as a dominator spawned, generally not my best raid, but still.

      (Disregard the combat spec, usually assassination)

      Usually try to play as:

      Opener: Mutilate to 5+ combo points -> Rupture->Shadow Reflecion/Vendetta ->Mutilate to 5 combo points -> Envenom->Vanish->Mutilate->Preparation->Vanish->Mutilate

      After that keep up normal rotation as:

      Refresh rupture at 7> seconds left on it with 5 combo points
      Envenom at 5 combo points and after pooling some energy.
      Swap to dispatch at 35% and try to fit in blindslide procs during envenom buff.

      With secondary targets that are shot lived tend to just mutilate and envenom if I get enough combo points, otherwise rupture the secondary target up as well whilst keeping rupture rolling on boss, along with deadly poison.

      (This is pretty much what I have told our other rogue in the guild to do as well, gear is almost equal, she misses 4 set however).

      Either way feel like my dps is lacking, especially compared to the paladin in our raid group. Any advice would help :)
