Enhancement Shaman: About the Legendary Wrists

So I've got an Enhancement Shaman alt who recently got the Legendary Wrists: Akainu's Absolute Justice. (One Piece references, hurray!).

I'm curious how this affects my rotation, do I try to make more use of Lava Lash with Flametongue and Frostbrand up to maximize the increase in sustained DPS? I've begun to take Hailstorm as a result of this change, as I want to use Frostbrand even more than I did before. Furthermore, does this affect my Artifact Route in any way, since assuming I'm using Lava Lash more frequently, doesn't that make Doom Vortex more viable?

Hopefully an experienced Shaman player can give me some pointers here, since I'm pretty green. Thanks in advance!

From my experience, it doesn't make enough of an impact to your DPS to change up your rotation. Akainu's really does make you want to prioritize the Hailstorm talent over Ancestral Swiftness. It's a nice helpful boost but your rotation should remain the same while maintaining the Flametongue/Frostbrand buffs and using Stormstrike procs whenever they are available. Your artifact route should still be the same too because Lava Lash doesn't really get any higher up in our rotation priority.

No problem! Just focus on buff uptime with Boulderfists, Flametongue, Frostbrand, Crash Lightning and whenever you're near max Maelstrom use it like two or three times to lower it down. Just need to make sure you don't go too far down because you won't have the Maelstrom to spam your Stormstrike procs. It's just a filler that you use in between when your buffs are already up and you're waiting for Stormstrike procs whilst having too much Maelstrom. Do all that and you should be fine. The main times where you would find yourself spamming Lava Lash would be when you're using Doom Winds + Feral Spirit and your Maelstrom is overflowing while having no Stormstrike procs.
