Oogalooga 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2016 Not sure which stats weight I should be following. Azor's guide is saying haste is > all but all the stats are very close to each other. But when I used simcraft, it's still using the old stats weight where versatility > crit > haste > mastery (I'm using the new simcraft 7.10). Gems and enchants are the same. Azor is saying haste gem and haste enchant but simcraft is telling me versatility gem and versatility enchant. Is simcraft wrong?
Kufru 7 Report post Posted November 2, 2016 I think simcraft is more accurate, stats weight change depending on your gear, if you have a lot of haste already, then crit & vers will have more value to you. As you'll increase vers / crit, at some point haste will be the best stat again...
Oogalooga 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2016 I get that, but I don't have that much haste and my gear is full of critical and versatility prior to me changing it. Either Azor is wrong or simcraft wasn't updated?
Critocalypse 2 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 I used the nightly build and simmed it with old stats weights and then updated my gems/enchants and the new way is "slightly" higher dps. Its not going to make/break you to be honest but if you leave your vers gems/enchants on it will only be a very slight loss.
RageMonkey 1 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 Right now Haste and Vers are almost dead even, with haste barely edging out. If I remember it's Agi>Haste>=Vers>Crit>Mastery. Thanks to the 7.1 fixes with pet auto attacks actually proccing our mastery haste got a SIGNIFICANT boost.
