Glatzmann 1 Report post Posted November 9, 2016 hi guys, my name is ralf and i'm from germany so please excuse my bad english. i'm a bit confused. i've been watching azortahrions videos on youtube. in his mm guide is written: "Your "rotation" will tend to look somthing like.... Sidewinders > Aimed Shot > Marked Shot > Aimed Shot until Vularable expires..." But when i see him playing he always does: Sidewinders > Marked Shot > Aimed Shot Aimed Shot.... is there something i do not understand? Greets from Frankfurt, Ralf It is normal to go for Sidewinders > Marked Shot > Aimed Shot > Aimed Shot during Trueshot. Are you sure that's not what he's doing? Precast Windburst 1.5 seconds before the encounter starts. Cast A Murder of Crows if you have chosen this talent. Activate Trueshot. Cast Sidewinders. Cast Barrage if you have chosen this talent and Bloodlust was used off the pull. Otherwise save till the last moment of Trueshot (to benefit from the cast time reduction right before it expires). Cast Marked Shot. Cast Aimed Shot until you are below ~80 focus. Cast Sidewinders. Cast Marked Shot. Proceed with your normal rotation, but when Trueshot is about to expire, you should Sidewinders again early to cast a 4th Marked Shot within its duration. A 4th Marked Shot is only possible with Bloodlust up from the beginning of the fight.
Glatzmann 1 Report post Posted November 10, 2016 thanks for your reply. it's not about the opener... he has that little addon where you can see his shots...ther are two "new" videos online from him in youtube and i have never seen him shooting an AS after Sidewinders... greets, ralf
Dheimoss 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2016 (edited) As for as I know (I'm probably wrong), there are two ways to manage Marked shot procs. - Using them directly after SW - Waiting last vunerable second (usually without buff after 2 AS) From my experience this has little to none impact on dps but I tend to prefer the 2nd one because it allow less time where I found myself with SW in CD and no vunerable on target, except for opener/BL Edited November 10, 2016 by Dheimoss
GmLocke 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2016 IMO: What i noticed playing as a MM, sometimes you are focus capped when you cast SW, so you cast MS right after to use a little focus so it can start filling again while you are casting AiS. If you go the other way, you will stay all the AiS cast time with full focus, wasting our natural focus regen. Sorry my english.
