Nikkidh 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2016 what are you guys doing when your momentum is down? if u have 70% fury, but ur fel rush + Vr is on cd. do you use chaos strike or do you build the fury bar full, then wait for fel rush or vr coming up? Lets say you have 65% momentum up, what you do in the other 35%? Bulding fury or spend fury? I know you wanna use chaos strike, glaive throw, eye beam, illidary, the big dmg output during momentum, but its not always up...
Nathrezzym 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2016 building fury. if u would be overcapped just spend it due to the spending for the chaos strikes can generate it as well.
Destuinne 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) Momentum should very rarely be down? I tend to Chaos Strike anyway but that is because the time Momentum is down is incredibly short. Whenever I tend to find myself out I Blur and have my 2 Additional Fel Rushes up. Although you lose your defensive, Blade Rush gives you a guaranteed dodge should you really need it when Blur is down. But with 2x Fel Rushes and Retreating giving you 12 seconds, the time before the next Fel Rush should be seconds at most. If you have 70+ fury spend it on Chaos Strike, try not to have above 70 before fel rush, chances are you won't be able to spend it within the 4 sec momentum window (unless maybe in situation where you have meta + bl so you can have like 6-7 Annihilations per momentum window). If you are going to use VR next you can bank a bit more, since VR doesn't provide you with fury (unless you have Prepared), so having 70+ to 100 fury before VR is ok.
