I thought I would farm some Pirate Warriors today!
Made a counter deck for it and only faced every bad matchup I could find with Dragon Priest,
I'd run Ooze and Chillmaw, but that does nothing against reno decks except for when they play Medive and Jaraxxus.

Lucky me :p

PS: I've picked Dragon Priest for a 60 gold daily quest. But It didnt worked out for me.

Do you guys also have those moments when you switch deck and the meta looks like its all shifted?

On lesser samples - all the time. The moment I switch thinking "I'll catch my good matchups now" I get my worst ones.

And I can't counter Pirate Warrior with anything. Literally. I'm just dead turn 5 through any draw I have. Thanks for slowing the meta, Blizzard!

All the damn time, hence why I pick my poison for the evening and stick to it through hell and high water.

I never thought I would write this sentence out. But for someone with limited play time like me; more games lasting five minutes finished by turn 6 and less sleep-inducing thirty minutes long Control match-ups going into fatigue is a very good thing.

I guess I'm just playing the right decks but I'm yet to lose against a pirate warrior. That's through a combination of face shaman/murloc pala/dragon priest/demon zoo. I'm guaranteed to lose my next game against them now though ...

For the past two months or so my opponents have been pretty much exclusively either a mirror match or a zoolock. If I'm playing a deck that I enjoy, I'm pretty much guaranteed to face a zoolock with a perfect curve who wins turn 4 or 5 which causes me to almost throw my phone out the window. If I play some other deck that I don't enjoy as much but need for a daily quest, I get a mirror match.

I've had it happen 3-4 times in a row which feels really weird. I'll play like trap hunter, dragon priest, healadin, and C'thun druid and somehow get a mirror match on every one.

It's great! I can do like 10 comment replies in the time it takes my opponent to decide whether to Armour Up! or Shield Block.

I have to say my dragon priest list is doing amazingly well. its almost a copy of this sites list only with some holy nova's thrown in.

other than that I'm playing taunt warrior, jade druid, jade/deathrattle rogue and secret mage.

I can advise most of those in general but only the priest and mage seem to hold up against pirate warriors,

its all about saving your removal for the right minions.

my meta (lower ranks on EU) seems to be mostly jade druids, some mages and ofc pirate warriors. Im also seeing evolve shamans and taunt warriors. and the occasional renolock.

I'm playing removal Priest, it's great. I just sit there and remove everything they play until we fatigue.

I did this too, only thing I had in deck were heavy heals and cold removal. no wincondition at all except 'Im a priest and I survive longer than you'

I've played this before prior to the new set.  Wasn't entirely viable.  Had it's moments and some games where I'm sure my opponent went mad.  But more often than not I didn't have the necessary card, or too many minions with 4 Attack were present.  There are a few new cards that may make this a bit more entertaining.  Still tough against aggro though, just too many minons to try to deal with.

I had a "So today" element the day before yesterday and today.

On Tuesday I was on rank 6, then I managed to drop down to rank 9 in around 2 hours. With an incredible score of 1:14.

And today I climbed from rank 8 to rank 5 with 13:2.

Same deck.

But on tuesday lot's of pirate warriors (I play midrange Shaman and loose more games vs pirate warrior then I win), today just one.

Been having pretty good luck with reno priest.  I only really ever lose if I can't answer a frothing berserker, or unlucky mulligans.

I generally play one deck every season (different deck every season but I don't generally switch halfway through), reno mage right now, and I just got queued up against the same player twice who plays one of the greediest reno lock lists I have ever seen (Blast Crystal, Rag, Combo, Jaraxxus, the whole nine miles).  Just sort of made me really salty.  Like what sort of moron plays a deck that greedy in an aggro meta?  I mean he got rewarded for it since he queued into me twice, but still, I just hate it when people make stupid decisions and they are rewarded for it.

Calling a person a moron is not the nicest thing to do. He may practice the deck against unfavourable match ups, he may don't care about ladder position and play this deck because he finds it fun.

      Paladin Cards:
2x Crystology 2x Flash of Light 1x Lightforged Blessing 1x Crystalsmith Kangor 2x Time Out! 2x Consecration 2x Truesilver Champion 1x Hammer of Wrath 1x Prismatic Lens 2x Holy Wrath 2x Shrink Ray 1x Lay on Hands 1x Shirvallah, the Tiger Neutral Cards:
1x Bloodsail Corsair 2x Wild Pyromancer 2x Novice Engineer 2x Baleful Banker 2x Violet Spellsword 1x Zilliax
      General:
Here is my Version of the OTK-Paladin. I was playing a long time with 2x Prismatic Lens, but i always felt like going into a bigger risk when casting it later on without drawing Shirvallah, the Tiger.  As well i always struggled with my Handsome and ending up overdrawing or just dumping Cards out. So i Cut 1 Prismatic Lens and 1 Hammer of Wrath.  As well as the big draw from Lay on Hands makes up for missing those Card-draws.
For giving up those i put in the Violet Spellsword ´s. Because you usually have atleast 3 spells in hand she makes an awesome Body on the board giving you some breathing time. (Also you can draw it from Crystology because it is a 1- Attack minion. You have to try it out it gives you a a Contester for the board.
The Lightforged Blessing  is an awesome tool to play with Wild Pyromancer and Violet Spellsword.
Since you have a lot Healing-tools it is fine to trade some Health for getting a better value out of Shrink Ray and Time Out! ´s for later on to ensure you the combo.
Because of that Crystalsmith Kangor feels really important. It has so much potential to heal you to full again. Beside the obvious choices to play it with Flash of Light and Lay on Hands. it Heals a lot with your Lifesteal Minions (Zilliax, Shirvallah, the Tiger, Lightforged Blessing).

      Strategy:
Your main Win Condition is having the combination of Shirvallah, the Tiger, Holy Wrath and Baleful Banker in hand while your Deck is empty.
When you have 0 Cards in your deck you want to play Shirvallah, the Tiger after that you shuffle it in your deck as your only card with Baleful Banker.
Now Holy Wrath is ensured to do 25 Damage in his face. Against most classes having the combo once (25 Damage) is enough. That means you can use 1 Holy Wrath for clearing a minion and drawing faster to the bottom of your deck. And as well the combination of Shirvallah, the Tiger and Baleful Banker to clear a minion during the game and heal! It often is important to use against Rogues and Hunter.
Against Warriors u need to have the Combo twice to deal 50 Damage in the end. During the game you can suffer some Damage to your face in order to make sure he doesn't get over 50 Health. That means you hit his face with Truesilver Champion ,Hammer of Wrath, and obviously with your Violet Spellsword.
In order to reach the bottom of your deck  you have a lot of drawing tools like Crystology, Novice Engineer, Lay on Hands, Flash of Light, Prismatic Lens).
To make sure you live until that point you have to make smart use of: Time Out!, Shrink Ray, your Wild Pyromancer ´s. And to double your healing tools like Lay on Hands Flash of Light and Zilliax with Crystalsmith Kangor.  You can often surprise the enemy with the amount of healing this can potentially do. Often it is nice to suffer some damage in face to get a better board clear with Shrink Ray+Wild Pyromancer.
As well Consecration + Wild Pyromancer can deal 3 (maybe even 4 if you have another cheap spell) to the enemy board.
You can as well heal a lot with Wild Pyromancer + Lightforged Blessing (if the board is full)
That said Shrink Ray often has usage to just play alone to minimize the damage you take and buy you another turn for a better Boardclear.

      Start of Game:
You are mainly looking for Crystology. It can get you more card draw by giving you Novice Engineer. Or even a good turn 4 minion by drawing you Violet Spellsword.
Against Aggro decks you want to maybe have an Eye on your Shrink Ray ´s, Consecration ´s and Zilliax. Against those decks it is as well really important to get as much value out of Crystalsmith Kangor (which is also drawn by Crystology) as possible.
Also Flash of Light and Truesilver Champion are good in some Match- Ups.
Maybe pair it with one Combo of Shirvallah, the Tiger and Baleful Banker. Because most Aggro decks don't have a Way to generate much Armor, nor having a lot of Healing most of the Time dealing 25 in the End is enough. Playing Shirvallah, the Tiger 1 Time during the game often can save your life!
Hope You will have as much fun with this deck as I do!

This post will be mostly a rant and then a question.
      Question first:
Is there any more I can do to boost my Bad Luck Protection and get my next leggo ? (Velens, HPriest Ring and Cloak remain)

      My Pain:
After getting my 7th stupid non-BiS leggo, Maze's Unwavering Will, I felt that I might actually have a chance at getting the sacred Cloak of Infinite Parse (Hnnnnggg).
So this past week I farmed...a lot (well a lot for me). It was Memorial Day weekend so I had ample time to do:
Emisarrys, Mythic World Tour, Mythic + (11 and then a bunch of random keys), Nether Portal Farm, all the Wyrmtonuge caches I could grab while portal farming, RBG daily for the AP, Raids, (LFR, Norm, Heroic of all the raids, and mythic of En and one boss in NH).
Feeling confident that I would get a leggo any day now  I grabbed my mythic cache yesterday hoping for one. Sadly, no leggo.
So I go back to the grind and start doing the Broken Shore WQ. See a rare boss is up. Kill it. Loot.... (Cue Metal Gear Solid guard alert sound) ORANGE TEXT! oh my go..Amani's Cord of Hope... -_- :'( .
Cue guild trolling and me hating my life.
Bliz pls. Y u do this?
So now here I am, almost 12 hours later, feeling pretty down about it l that I "wasted" my time and still no payoff besides 1.9 billion AP.
Please help me farm legendaries faster. Tips are appreciated.
      Signed,
      Septuagint, the Broken

I have noticed something disturbing at my Garrison in Draenor since reaching level 110 in Legion....
That is that the follower missions available at your Garrison are now having item level requirements to do, and there does not appear to be any way to increase your follower's item levels besides doing quests that have a high item level requirement. It is like Blizzard is saying, in order to get this, you have to complete that, but in order to attempt that, you have to already have this?? Is this a catch 22, or is it just me??
So, my question is whether there is any other way to increase the item level of your followers in the garrison besides the quests?? PLEASE clarify, and THANKS in advance!!
