Holy Paladin Raid Healing

I have been doing a lot more raid healing lately as a H Pally and was wondering if there were any tips or tricks that anyone could give to help increase my healing. There is a resto druid that has been beating me on most fights and I don't like it at all!!!

Some fights I seem to do decent on the logs while others I have a tendency to struggle. The main talents I seem to change a lot are the 5th tier which are Divine Purpose, Holy Avenger, and Holy Prism. I'm not sure which I prefer the most or which will increase my healing output the most. I know I don't take Rule of Law and probably should but might need some insight as to when to be using it.

Your gear seems mostly fine, idk how often do you need mana from cocoon, if you are not using it often its worth switching to something with better stats. Your weapon seems kinda low, and I cant see if you have BiS traits on your relics(shock treatment). You are also a bit behind on AP, 5% more healing from rank 35 is something most healers have now.

Regarding your talent dilemma, Holy Prism will get you bigger numbers in most situations (exceptions being lack of targets it can heal-melee dps, or fights where you really need that extra cooldown from Holy Avenger).

I can see you are mostly going for beacon of the lightbringer, but on the fights where both tanks are taking constant damage (elerethe,cenarius,guarm...), beacon of faith will give you way more hps, just be more careful of your positioning because now people around your beacons no longer benefit from your mastery unless you are there.

I see you are using judgement of light, which is good, especially with your legendary ring, just make sure its always on the boss (or bosses-first and second phase of odyn, adds on Il'gynoth, both dragons if possible...)

Now what seems like the biggest mistake to me: Rule of Law.

I know it seems weak, but that's why it has a short cooldown and 2 charges, and depending on how much mastery you have (and you have enough) it can make a big difference. We dont really care about that extra range, we care about bigger numbers we get on people who are closer to us! Its free extra healing on everyone, not just close to you - those within 15 yards get the most benefit, but people outside of that also get more healing because the range at wich your mastery starts diminishing is also increased

Your worst fight seems to be Cenarius, and that just shows how important Rule of Law is. The room is big and people are more spread. When to use it? ALL THE TIME. As soon as more people except tanks are taking dmg, pop RoL before you toss those few heals. If unexpected burst of raid dmg happens right after it expires, you still have one more charge! And its not like the cooldown is long, you will get it back soon. Are you about to use artifact ability? use RoL with it. Are you popping Avenging Wrath? pop RoL too. Cooldown and 2 charges make it available pretty much every time you want it.

You are also in blue % on elerethe and that is probably because you are not using dual beacons on that. In my exp people are not too spread on that fight, and if I'm in the middle, everyone benefits from my mastery, so I dont really need beacon of lightbringer, and both tanks are taking constant dmg, so my dual beacons heal a lot.
