godsilla94 5 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Hello fellow Deathknights I have already posted twice, but I wanted to try it another time since I got a bunch of new logs that could be analyzed. While I have improved in some areas and have gotten a few decent performances over the last few weeks, I still feel like I am underperforming, especially considering my ilvl. I feel like I have the biggest issues in pure DPS Single Target Encounters such as Ursoc or Guarm. I feel like I have to be doing something wrong rotation-wise, otherwise I can't really explain the massive differences that I encounter in logs. My character: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/thrall/Àtrocity/advanced Note: My weapon is Level 37 and got fairly decent traits, Ambidexterity, Nothing but the Boots and Over-Powered. I also play Obliteration on Single Target Encounters and GA on AoE. Drtain 74 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Looking at your most recent ursoc the main concerns are your rime procs expiring often Rime is huge it's a 300% increased damage to howling blast which is very large. Secondly your pillar of frost, and your Obliteration have some delayed casts to them could use work there. 3rdly you hit runic cap a couple times, as well as you were over 2 runes for around 30~ seconds of the fight which means Frozen pulse wasn't always active these are the only real concerns I have, rime procs probably could easily make up for 20-30k more DPS if not more. godsilla94 5 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 @Drtain Thanks a lot. I honestly didn't even notice that I was missing out on Rime procs, I'll try to pay more attention to it in the future. Capping and uptime issues vary for me from encounter to encounter, but i'll try to do my best to improve in those departments. I got 2 different questions, though, that you might know the answer to: 1. I read that you should use RW on cd, is that a true statement, even in single target encounters? 2. Drtain 74 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 I don't think old war is better, some people think/say it is but I don't believe it is. RW is something pretty contested if you look at the top parses some of them use it some of them don't. So it's probably very minimal either way.
