Hi,

I saw some questions on how much CDR you should run to play this build. Since it's quite hard to find a complete answer on the net about this, I will tell you 2 very clear things:

1) You can defenitly push 100+ without CDR on amulet ONLY if you have MAX CDR on both ring gloves shoulder offhand and weapon = 62.60% (if Im not wrong) BELOW this breakpoint this build is unplayable. However, you should know that at this exact breakpoint you NEED to keep 15 stack of gogok ALL the time, otherwise you will have to reset your rotation sooner or later or at the very least be in very bad shape on the RG. Please note that you must be at 15 gogok stacks on your first archon of the rift and that you should exactly morph on the first half second of fire element on your COE. So I recommend to launch the rift on fire and have a full cycle to make your first pack.

2) If you run CDR on each item even if not max rolled (assuming youve more than 63%) you can relax and destack your gogok from time to time, you will always have 2-3 seconds to find the good spot to burst. You can easily morph in archon in the middle of your fire element since cdr will not be an issue

I will add one thing if you want to clear 100+ 57-60% crit is an absolute minimum so if you lack cirt and have the perfect CDR roll elswhere I would anyway consider to roll crit instead of CDR on your amulet and go for the 1) plan even if its much harder to play: theres a point where you ll simply lack dmg to push further.

Know that the perfect roll on rings and amulet are CC DCC CDR + socket with no int even on gloves AS is better thant int.

This build is based on a 15% chance to do any notable damage meaning its EXTREMELY  inconsistent. Be ready to spend five minutes spamming on a rift guardian only to see it get one shot the second after the rift times out.

when you are on ARCHON FORM the BEAM Desintegration Wave has to be lighting usually its fire and for this has to get gear with %Lighting Damage! or just go with mystic and do some reforge..

this is a GOOOD tip for beginers.

This is included in the guide when discussing Paralysis triggers and having to roll Lightning damage on a piece of gear :)

Unfortunately, this is always a possibility with RNG-based builds. It's just another part of RNG in a game of fishing for the right rift, right boss etc.

It doesn't matter which you choose to use, only the level. Use a gem that you don't need to socket on any of your characters.

Hi guys,

Despite selecting the rune Combustion which is supposed to make my spells hitting with fire, it's using cold instead. I have tried to put off my gear, change runes, spells, still the same bug. Only the (first) explosion  when I turn into archon is using fire.

It has been working perfectly well until yesterday evening.

Do you have any idea to fix this ? =)

Thanks and best regards,

Hi,

I got rather a noob question, I got the Starfire wand today. It was a huge improvement, but, it got 1563-1856 cold damage, and I've always had lightning damage on my previous weapons, so I am wondering if cold elemental from the weapon is affecting my archon beam in some shape or form? I seem to do less damage or rather miss when im directly aiming my beam towards mobs.

If you follow the guide for best stats for each slot, you end up with basically no health regen at all. Is that how it's supposed to work? If you're low on health do you just use your potion and if it's on cooldown you just run away? Or is this just covered once you get a high even paragon?

The damage when it comes to a Vyr's empowered Archon is based upon your highest elemental damage. So while Combustion will make it explode with the fire element, what you do as damage afterwards would be based upon your elemental affix on your bracers/neck/etc. Make sure you've got the proper rolls.

The damage element on the weapon only matters in the Wizards case when you have no arcane power to spend and it fires off the wand's normal attack. In this case it would shoot off cold. 99.9% of the time (in my anecdotal evidence), this won't matter as much as the damage range itself since most builds won't require you spend time using that basic wand attack.

So i have a question.   I am running this build and for what ever reason I cannot stay alive in greater rifts.  I do a ton of damage a lot of the time but I almost get one shotted in grifts 70+.  What do I do?

It's always hard to say if you don't post your setup. You possibly miss something at your gear or skills or so.

Anyway this build is all about denying damage income. As most top builds are. Maybe it's just a matter of gameplay.

If you are following the build guide closely, then you should be able to survive GR 70+. However, you should not be rooted to one spot for more than a few seconds at the time. In solo GRs, keep teleporting around and make sure to build up archon stacks for more DPS and toughness. You can increase your survivability further by choosing the Templar follower.

You don't mention Ancient Parthan Defenders at all during the gearing section, but list them as best in slot.

Can you say something about how they stack up vs the blood bracers?

So I've noticed (and my buddy read somewhere that this is a glitch) that this build can pop guardians like they are nothing. My buddy said that Bliz is going to fix this in Season 11, likely with the new Necromancer patch. He's under the impression that it will cause this build to die completely. How melodramatic do you think he's being? Does that bug exist, and if so, what do you think will happen when Bliz fixes it?

Forget my last post. I was poking around a different forum. They mention, "The Manald Heal is bugged when used with the Hydra. You can't proc your Manald Heal with your Archon skills if your Hydra is proccing it at the same time."

Do you know if this is true? If so, the hydras could create a problem when jumping in to Archon.

One other thing: since Tal Rasha stacks proc from elements, and fire is tied to Archon+Combustion (which means you get fire damage only going into Archon, not out), wouldn't it make sense to replace hydras with a fire ability so you can build Tal Rasha's stacks coming out of Archon as well as going in?

Or does the damage the hydras do—especially with Serpent's Sparkler's dual hydras—make up for all of that?

Hi and thanks for the awesome builds!

I think that after the restructure, some of the content is not accessible. I think I can only see the speed farm variation. I don't see any options or for solo or group GR. DO I miss something?

This.

And this is a great build once you've levelled up gems and added caldesanns despair, if you have the right rolls.

You need a lot of cooldown, you have to use archon as much as possible - you increase damage and resistance hugely in archon and the swami sustains that for 20 secs once you leave archon, by which time you should be in archon again. Enter archon immediately as soon as you enter a rift.

During downtime, you use spellcast and spam your generator for a few seconds, then spam the heck out of teleport until you can archon again.

If you hit the CoE bonus great, but if not it's not the end of the world, just try to make sure you have the full tal rasha bonus active when you hit archon (teleport, spellcast, generator once then archon - that rotation to maximise tal rasha and convention of elements together)

It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.
      Season End (Source)
Heard and got some pings while I’ve been out and I have production checking on this early end. This shouldn’t have ended today so something is funky. Will provide an update once I hear back.

Here are the challenges you’ll face: For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at level 70 on Torment X or higher. Also returning for Season 33 is Sprinter/Speed Racer, where you’re challenged to complete the entire Diablo III campaign from Act I to Act V at Level 70 in under an hour! Next is Avarice/Avaritia, where all that glitters is gold—that is, if you can complete a 50 million Gold streak outside of The Vault or its Inner Sanctum. We're also bringing Thrill/Superhuman, which requires completion of a Greater Rift Level 45—solo and without any Set items equipped. And lastly we'll be bringing back Speed Demon/Need for Speed, meaning you'll need to beat a Torment X Nephalem Rift at Level 70 in 2 minutes. Best of luck! Return to Top Haedrig’s Gift

Want to go fast while killing things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart are right up your alley.  On A Good Day and I Can’t Stop are making a return, if leveling your Legendary Gems is more your thing. Finally, if you’re keen to prove your mastery of various Class Sets, Years of War and Dynasty will be returning along with Masters of the Universe and Masters of Sets. Best of luck!
