The newest Hero to join the Heroes of the Storm family is Valeera Sanguinar. On January 7, we wrote about her in more detail and shared our thoughts why we think she would be the next Hero.

Blizzard has been teasing her on Twitter for the last two days. We're still waiting for a new in-development video, where we get a preview of her abilities and gameplay. If you have some spare time, please help our friends over at reddit to summon it.

Balancing combo points wouldn't be too crazy and a good way to balance burst with needing to focus a target outside of stealth. Rough expectation: two combat sets, one bar of stealth openers and one set of combat moves.

Stealth set: cheap shot, ambush, sap? (3rd was harder)
Combat set: Eviserate, kidney shot, fan of knives?
Ultimate: Cheat death/vanish/cloak of shadows?

This sort of frame work could also give them a similar "spec" build like they did with Varian. Cheap shot and kidney shot make me worry about stun lock, but we will see. Maybe something more defensive like sprint or kick?

Really I'm excited for it. Yet again, gave me a hero I didn't even expect to want. This only leaves monk, fruid, and a real hunter (Rexxar does NOT play as a hunter, there is more than a pet to that flavor) left for classes from WoW. All the others are pretty reasonably covered.

I personally would like to see Stukov, as most Co-op commanders are already in the game (with the exception of Karax, Vorizun and Swann), and we don't have many specialists either. Would probably play a lot like a Zagara/Xul hybrid, who specialized in infesting like in SC2 and then tearing down a fort with the broodlings. Just a thought though!

I think the priest haven't been well covered yet other then tyrande but if you think there's too many healers i think a shadow priest would be pretty cool

We need a true Priest representation in the form of Velen or Anduin Wrynn. Could be a mix of Holy and Discipline specs.

I think that a Windwalker Monk could be well represented by that leader of the Shado-pan I forgot the name.

I am kinda disappointed because she is the first rogue in the game and she is added in atmosphere of butthurt caused by Warcraft assassins' streak... I would add some heroes from other franchises and than the first rogue could be appreciated properly.

What about a Priest? I would like to see him as multiclass hero (support/assassin). The one way is holy/discipline and the second is shadow. Heroic for holy/disci class would be Mass Dispel and for shadow class Shadow Word: Death or Shadowform? I can't wait for an undead skin for Anduin also.

Guess that would be Taran Zhu. There are certainly some other Shado Pan but i do agree that Taran Zhu would make most sense. Taoshi is a rogue IIRC, Nurong a Hunter and Ji Firepaw, well gets beaten up during SOO. That would leave Aysa Cloudsinger - but she's alliance :)

 

OT: Valeera should be nice - always liked her story. Now we can play Warrior/Rogue/Shaman Teams... (Varian/Valeera/Rehgar). Bet there will be a brawl (Ring of blood anyone?) down the road at some point :)

All you need is Bronn and the old Gladiator group from the lore is back together!
