GUILD PHILOSOPHY

Elysian Gaming was founded as a casual guild that has eventually developed into a raiding guild aiming to clear mythic content. We strive to strike a good balance between hardcore and casual by setting clear attainable goals and having fun while progressing.

ABOUT

Elysian Gaming was founded on 5th September 2015. We have recently transferred servers from the quiet land of 
The Sha'tar to Silvermoon EU. What started out as a casual guild soon evolved into a keen raiding guild. We have adopted two core principles that we endeavor to live by at all times...

- Clear the hardest raid content the game has to offer before the next tier is released.
- Provide a genuine home and family for all of our members.

These two principles may seem basic at first but we take them very seriously. Too many times have we all been promised a 'friendly' guild only to be shunned by those dreaded cliques of players unwilling to accept anyone else. In Elysian Gaming we actively discourage the formation of 'bad' cliques and have always excelled at reaching out to new members making them feel like a real addition to the family.

We use Discord for our communications both socially and during raids, which is precisely why you may realize that our forums are a little scarce. To get involved with the community, join our discord server right away!

RECRUITMENT STATUS

TANK: OPEN
HEALERS: OPEN (Resto Druid preferred)
DPS: OPEN (Ranged; preferably Mages, Balance Druid)

We genuinely want you to play the class you enjoy the most, though you may be asked to switch to a viable off-spec on occasion. We will try our best to keep this to a minimum.

Please note that regardless of our recruitment status, we are always on the lookout for exceptional applications from both raiders and social members.

LOOT DISTRIBUTION

We reach the consensus of who gets loot with the majority of the members in the raid at the time, awarding people who need it most, but also have proven to be valuable additions to the guild. A Loot Council addon is used to achieve this - select members of the raid are chosen voters for the decisions on loot with Raid Leader having the final say.
