Noones 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 Hello everyone, i was Main Tank for EN as Blood DK, but because i had to take a few weeks break since my gf was in hospital the tank spots are now filled. So i have to play DPS, but my damage is just bad. Im getting 70-80 percentile Logs, but alway really low ( like 20-50 ) bracket logs, so even if my dps is "fine" thats just because of my high ilvl and not because i can play the class. and i think i can and i have to get better to compete with the other dps classes in our guild. Browed 19 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) I would say you have 2 options regarding builds: Go full on BoS for highest burst/overall dps http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/tool/talent-calculator#dZa!2112221 (quick sim: 492 dps using your armory) Or like me, you can go OBGS http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/tool/talent-calculator#dZa!2102220 (quick sim: 480 dps using your armory) The BoS build is far less forgiving if you make mistakes or get out of range at the wrong times which is why I prefer the build with more focus on RW, plus the other benefit is that all the new builds require ME rather than IT, making stack management a non-issue. I also find that rune starving can become an issue certainly if you don't line up BoS with Lust/Warp... this burst spec shines mainly when you can guarantee this timing. A few things will be hurting your bracket performance that you have no control over: blood legendary/boots = a big chunk of ilvl that will not translate into dps which all your main dps guys will likely be getting. Give the dummy a spank with those two builds and see if you get any results that match up with your playstyle. Certainly on a good day, the BoS build has potential for massive numbers on the 2 - 3 minute nuke fights if you get a bloodlust on the pull but it's a swing big/miss big scenario if it doesn't pull off. Do you have any Logs with this Build so i can take a look? I tried using the BOS Build but i cant get over 90 Seconds with it on the Dummy, and this thing aint moving...
