Blizzard has published an update with information on how to complete the Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part OneBroken Isles Pathfinder, Part One, which is required to start Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part TwoBroken Isles Pathfinder, Part Two in Patch 7.2 that unlocks Legion flying. It's good to start working on it if you already haven't.

Hold your ground mounts! Flying becomes available in Patch 7.2 - and if you haven’t already started on your journey, now is the time to complete Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part OneBroken Isles Pathfinder, Part One. To help you along the way, we’re breaking the achievement down into a series of four handy guides: Good Suramaritan, Legion Explorer, World Quests, and Class Order Hall Campaigns.

Becoming a Good Suramaritan

The Good Suramaritan achievement will take a little time investment if you want to earn your wings and fly in Azeroth. The TL;DR: complete the Suramar quest lines and earning reputation with the Nightfallen along the way. Reputation is key, and unlocks quests within the achievement – one quest, A Change of Seasons, won’t unlock until you’re 20,000 reputation into Revered.

Where to Start

I’m Not 110 Yet

Not to worry – if you haven’t reached maximum level yet, you have plenty of time. Go questing, run dungeons, level up your professions. In the end, you hit that magic number. When you hit 110, this guide will be waiting for you.

I’m 110 but Haven’t Started the Suramar Quest Line

If you haven't already completed Khadgar's Discovery, you'll first want to complete this short series of quests which will open the way to both World Quests and Suramar's questions.

Once in the zone, you’ll start down the path of getting to know the Nightfallen and their plight. The first major sub-achievement for earning Good SuramaritanGood Suramaritan is  Nightfallen But Not Forgotten, which asks you to make friends with the Nightfallen by completing the following quests chains:

  • Arcanist Kel’danath
  • Chief Telemancer Oculeth
  • The Light Below
  • Masquerade
  • Feeding Shal’Aran
  • Nightfall

I’m 110, Friends with the Right People, and Raring to Go

Getting started is a matter of completing the quests available to you and running around collecting Ancient Mana. You’ll be there in no time.

What You Need to Know:

  • Dungeon/Raid quests are Normal/Raid Finder (not Mythic, don’t worry). Quests that require you to complete dungeons do not need to be on Mythic difficulty and Xavius in the Emerald Nightmare can be completed through Raid Finder.
  • You will unlock extra World Quests. Doing this quest line unlocks extra World Quests in Suramar City. Completing these extra World Quests in Suramar City will definitely help with gaining more reputation with the Nightfallen.
  • Ancient Mana is your friend. Collect as much Ancient Mana as you can and increase your carry limit wherever possible – as you journey through Suramar you’ll need to turn in at least 2000 Ancient Mana as part of the quest line. You can find Ancient Mana all over Suramar and on creatures you kill. You’ll also be able to track Ancient Mana nodes on your minimap. See the "Where Can I Find Ancient Mana?" section below for more.
  • Increase your mana limit whenever you can. Dotted around Suramar are items that increase your carry limit for Ancient Mana.
  • Reputation. Reputation. Reputation. Part of the Good SuramaritanGood Suramaritan quest chain unlocks when you reach 20,000 reputation into Revered, so anything you can do to increase reputation will help. Keep an eye out for when Kirin Tor quests pop up in your World Map and then get jumping, barreling, and flying to hand in for extra reputation with your chosen faction.
  • Seriously, reputation. There are three repeatable quests that become available as you progress through the quest chain Feed ThalyssraFeed Valtrois and Feed Oculeth that reward 50 reputation each, along with a buff. The reputation reward resets every 24 hours, but you can renew the buff at any time. Please note: you can only interct with them if they have been fed, and there's a red bar on the dialogue box to tell you long you have until they need feeding again.
  • Dungeons will unlock for you! When you complete Friends With Benefits (part of the Statecraft quest chain) you’ll automatically become attuned to both the Arcway and Court of Stars dungeons.
  • Collectibles! Pets! And a toy! Along the way you’ll acquire two pets, a toy, and an item that allows water breathing in Azuregale Bay. One of the pets is very, very cute: Lurking Owl KittenLurking Owl Kitten. The other pet is also cute, of course…if you like Mana Wyrms.  And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

What Quests are Part of Good Suramaritan?

These are the quest lines you will need to complete for the Good Suramaritan achievement.

  • An Ancient Gift – completed as part of Nightfallen But Not Forgotten
  • The Waning Crescent – rewards a toy: Never Ending Toy ChestNever Ending Toy Chest
  • Blood and Wine – rewards a pet: Untethered WyrmlingUntethered Wyrmling
  • Statecraft – unlocks Arcway and Court of Stars
  • A Growing Crisis – requires you to kill Xavius in The Emerald Nightmare (LFR +)
  • A Change of Seasons – unlocks when you reach 20k into Revered
  • Breaking The Lightbreaker
  • Moon Guard Stronghold
  • Tidying Tel’anor
  • Eminent Grow-main – rewards a pet: Lurking Owl KittenLurking Owl Kitten
  • Jandvik’s Jarl – rewards Draught of Seawalking

Where Can I Find Ancient Mana?

Ancient Mana is easy to come by – with the most obvious and efficient being the Ancient Mana nodes that pop up on your minimap.

  • GATHER! Pick up Ancient Mana nodes in the zone. You’ll need the Mana Divining Stone, which is provided during the Ancient Mana quest so the nodes appear on your minimap.
  • QUEST! The Path to Suramar City
  • KILL! Creatures in Suramar
  • BUFF! Don’t forget to get the Ancient Mana buff from Feed Oculeth
  • GATHER! Ancient Mana is also contained in:
  •      Mana-Tinged PackMana-Tinged Pack – from an enchant applied to shoulders; requires The Nightfallen Honored
  •      Oddly-Shaped StomachOddly-Shaped Stomach – from the Skinning profession

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
