Serephine 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 Hi there everyone. I was interested in trying to fine tune my healing. Lilydeeangel 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Hi! I noticed on the armory your crit isn't at 30%. Try raising that to 30%, or even close to 35%, and then focus on Mastery. Mine was low as well and my numbers seemed to be low. I followed another priests advice and raised my crit. Trinkets, I have one for int and one for my stats, either crit or mast. My haste I keep between 5-10% because that's all you really need. For cool downs I use hymn in the beginning, and then it's usually up before the end of the fight, hymn boosts my numbers by a lot. I'm only 887 item lvl and I see anywhere from 350k-420k hps now. The crit should help though. The only thing with talents that I do different are, I take Piety now. Since the patch, it's considered really good. Piety and Benediction are really good together, and make sure to use PoM a lot. If you have any other questions, let me know :) My armory for you to go by. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/hellscream/Lilydeeangel/simple Edited January 31, 2017 by Lilydeeangel
Alarmbelle 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2017 Quote For cool downs I use hymn in the beginning, and then it's usually up before the end of the fight, hymn boosts my numbers by a lot. That sounds a bit vague. One shouldn't just spam hymn on cooldown just to top meters, unless the raid is taking no dmg and you just want to see big numbers on logs. Use Hymn when it's required and make sure that you don't overlap your cd with all the other healers' cds because your raid might end up having no cds for the next oh-shi- moment. Healing logs don't always tell the whole truth about who is bad and who is good either. Your raid might have too many healers, leaving you nothing to heal, or the other healers might even be hogging all the first cooldowns and wanting you to use yours at some later point which means you won't get to use yours as many times as they do. Lilydeeangel 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2017 (edited) My hymn is used for our raids cd's in the beginning :) I don't randomly hit it. They told me to do so I can have it up again since it's only a 3 min cd. Edited February 7, 2017 by Lilydeeangel
Lightshadow 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 Hi I'm sorry to barge in but don't listen to much on the other comments. Priest is went form heavy crit to less crit with 7.1.5, due to both Trail of Light changes (Blessing of Tuure wont proc of ToL anymore) and the amount of Prayer of Healing that is casted needs more mana which makes Enlightment more viable. You'd want to aim for following stats 20% crit, 20 % haste, 40 % mastery , 5 % versatility. Stat weighs goes like this int > mast > haste = crit > vers. For raid, go ToL / Enlightment, Feather, Afterlife, Light of the Naaru, Piety, Divinity and Benediction. Key part here, if you go talents like this, you HAVE TO make sure PoM is out on CD. the better you manage this, the higher numbers you will see, and the more you will be able to heal with Holy Word Sancity. (with 2 set this spell is so powerful) also concerning Hymn, it spreads your possible initial 2-3 10 stacks of PoMs and gives out renews, so finding a use early is good. However, make sure its raid wide damage, so it doesnt get wasted, and that you have it planed out, saves you mana. We are playing PvE, which means every damage raid takes, is planned by the enounter. So this is why you counter this damage with raid CDs. If your raid does this well, it will down bosses far easier than any other healing plan, which includes "I'll use my hymn when raid is about to die" which is a bad plan. you will end up 3 people thinking same and wasting CDs, mana and everyones time.
