Whetstone opinion?

So I got an ilvl 900 Windscar Whetstone for the weekly (~1125 mastery, on-use AOE effect) that is simming a bit higher than the 880 elemental foci I had... not sure I buy it.  Definitely a monster on trash, but has anyone had much luck with it on bosses?  Not wild about the total lack of agi.

On those lines, would it be affected by the crit% boost on the legendary shoulders?  Vendetta?

Interesting. I didn't even know that was a trinket lol.

I assume it would be affected by the Shoulders / Vendetta, cause Draught of Souls is. No actual experience with it though. It's particularly interesting if it does in fact work like Draught, since Stealth doesn't break when you use the trinket.

I'm sure it's decent if the damage is applied to everyone in the area and not split. You could probably game some ridiculous damage out of it on fights with stacked adds, like Skorp or Spellblade, or even Tich with the bloods / bats.

It does break stealth on use, so that's kind of a drag.  Tried it out on Tich and in an M+ maw run - looks like each enemy eats an individual hit on each pulse, so I'm definitely gonna try swapping it in on Skorp and maybe Spellblade.  I was afraid it would be another Appendages, but it seems a bit more useful than that so far.
