Ashbringer Relic versus Tier 7 build choice ?

Emphasis has been given to choosing relic for trait Wrath of the Ashbringer which enhances Avenging Wrath.  However, the tier 7 build choice for a Ret Pally is Crusade (which replaces Avenging Wrath) so it appears that using the Wrath of the Ashbringer relic would do nothing to improve performance.  The other two tier 7 choices are very unappealing and would like some suggestions of the best alternative or what the thoughts were on making the recommendations.

The Wrath of the ashbringer relics do boost crusade since the talent is a modified version of Avenging wrath so they are still the best options

Thanks for confirming it still modifies, was hoping that was the answer I would get just could not find any reference to confirm.
