Update to icy veins balance section. soo much wrong with it

To begin with.  I'm creating this thread because I keep getting questions about what Icy-veins did here or there. and i'm getting a bit tired of explaining the same thing over and over again, that it has just been easier for me to say "icy-veins is wrong.- just move on"

So for make it more clearly. i'm from druid discord as an expert, and I also play on a very high level at the same time.

who is Xirips again? is he lorgok?  cuz this is definitely a bald title and so wrong on many levels.  This guys name is only known to be because of "method" guild title and that he perhaps has a stream. thats it.  I don't even see him ranking on any logs anywhere. so again who exactly is he?

 did you know the 4th trait CI, actually gives 12% more starfall and starsurge dmg?  also, according to your relic comparison,  even the path order is super wrong.

and these are just 7.2 tree paths. So far since 7.2 is around the corner, these tree paths are what is mostly getting frequently asked about.  If I were Icy Veins,- I would try to be more crucial with my sources and get an actual boomie who knows how to play and actively plays. Someone who has his name out instead of hiding behind a guild title. 

 

I can rant about soo many of the icy veins parts but I think I made my message clear that your current relic comparison and overall tree paths just doesn't match so they are both wrong,  which means one part you guys are telling people 1 thing and anothe part you tell them other things.

Explain why you think builds and talents should be different ? Arguments should stand by themselves, no matter which "expert" is stating them.

sure I can tell you whats up.   

i will talk about the tree as its the most frequent attention seeking topic of  balance druid as it is, everyone wants to know what they want to do.   your old "tree"   which are 3/3 and can be 4/4  this patch.  are basically what you normally can get as relics.

 

which means their terms of strength are already calculated.    we have now received a new mini tree, which has 5  different traits one which can be build up to 4/4.  and one which is the new paragon, which means it requires 7 trait points in total and 50 paragon = 57.

the first trait  will give you 10% dmg + 10% stamina,  the 7th trait which is a gold trait will allow your dots to stack up to 6%  debuff on targets for increased arcane and nature dmg, -  starfall and starsurge are now astral dmg, which has been confirmed by blizzard, that they will therefore then deal 12% dmg  rather than 6%.   Therefore picking up wrong paths will lead to  low amount of dmg output and huge difference between balance druids.

which means our builds are going to look more in favour of starsurge as Tomb of S has a lot of single target.    now by looking at your tree apparently dots are in favor not starsurge. and my overall point is that this starts confusion when you over chat talk "in real time" with people.  I have presented you the accurate tree compared to the crap

and then i decided to read multiple sections of balance druid.  most of it is basic and can be agreed on,- but there are a lot of holes.  We have taken in charge of the wowhead balance druid guide. and you can just compare them.   which is why i stated who is xirips.   if you want a method boomie thats lorgok. Again. my profile here has 2 posts (this will be 3rd) i'm just here to tell icy veins to either look at other guides and fix current issues or just ask a new boomie for fixing.   

so take me granted as a troll if you want.  thats up to you.   I'm going off this page again.- I shared what I wanted to share.  Whats comes next is either that i'll begin to overall respect it  or that i'll just say "icy-veins just easier to say not to use it" when ever someone asks me anyting from that page.

After you get 35 points, the next 4 traits are locked in place and you get no choice as to the order.

Our guide is recommending the dot buffing talents as #5 and #6, and then the increased critical strike chance of Starsurge as #7.

By the time you are into Tomb of Sargeras you should easily have all three of these and there is no question they are the three most beneficial once you get started on the "free pick" part of the tree.

If you have other specific concerns, feel free to ask. I read your rants and other than this argument you have, which to me does not even hold water to begin with, you have not offered anything in particular. Top players' playstyles tend to evolve quickly, and the build that theorized as the best is rarely the one the top raiders are using by the end. The prevalence of Discord has accelerated this. But you're not convincing me with your holier-than-thou attitude and the lack of any real smoking gun to begin with.

Also, you might want to be more honest about exactly how the specs compare:
" The Balance specialisation provides an entertaining and challenging rotation, and it performs very well in terms of both single and multiple target DPS. "

Edit: or at least add that their single target DPS relies on getting the right legendaries.
