Inarius Bone Storm Necromancer

I switched to Gem of Eff. Toxin after a recommendation by someone on diablofans and I must say, it's pretty freakin legit.  Everything just melts away and that's without Kalan and only 10 bone armor.

Which gem do you switch with? What do you put in place with Kalan?

I've got to where I can solo 80 within time limits, and maybe I could get an 81 or an 82 with the right spawns, but that seems to be the limit (for me).  825 paragon, all ancient gear, gems at 85.   The problem is not being able to kill elites fast enough, and the Land of the dead/corpse lance just takes way too long to cool down.    I've tried some variants with cubing the 2-hand and using Tragoul's and Lost Time, and while it might be a bit more damage, for whatever reason the build then seems to be much more fragile.

try using lidless wall (phy% dmg & block chance) for more toughness and dmg instead of lost time

As a hardcore player I very much prefer Lidless WallLidless Wall <3 The %damage at least makes sure you don't lose out on too much damage.
Any damage offhand is most of the time still higher damage than the 15% physical but doesn't offer any survivability.

Managed to get to mid 80's GR's in s11 using this build as written before RG's started surviving a full land of the dead, have now swapped aquila's for corpsewhisper pauldrons, dropped trav's set to equip kalan and CoE, unity in the cube and on follower, toughness is roughly the same this way as it was before using aquila's but casting land of the dead at the start of the poison phase on CoE makes RG's even at gr85 die in about 6 seconds flat. have cleared a gr87 so far.

The Corpsewhisper PauldronsCorpsewhisper Pauldrons makes such a huge difference in higher GRs when you're using a full LotD <3 It's fun to see the damage just ramp up :)

I replaced decrepify/dizzying curse with frailty/aura of frailty for the damage boos from trag'oul corroded fang so as to guarantee all enemies in my bone tornado are cursed. Any reason this is a bad idea?

It would be a very bad idea once you get up to a moderate level of GRs since you lose up to 50% damage reduction from Dayntee's BindingDayntee's Binding that requires DecrepifyDecrepify . However in the next patch it will be changed so that it also works with FrailtyFrailty and thus giving us a lot more options!

I believe the guide is up-to-date for 2.6.1.

There aren't really any changes necessary. Are there any changes you expected/hoped to see?

Now that Dayntee's binding applies for any curse (not just Decripify), I think the build needs some adjustment.

What would you replace Dizzying with? It's a huge survivability boost and procs max Krysbin bonus.

Sorry, just now saw this reply.  I switched out Mirinae's for the Eff. Toxin.  I don't run Kalan.  Haven't been able to find a good Krysbin's ring to replace my excellent trifecta COE so I run Krysbin's in the cube.

Nope, running Lidless WallLidless Wall in the cube would not allow you to gain the %dmg.

I gotcha.

As an aside, I finally got a good ancient Krysbins with good stats and swapped it in for my COE and put Kalan on in the cube.  Not too shabby.

I know it's not super spectacular in the grand scheme of things but the other day when I popped Bone Armor, I had a 991 billion crit damage in a rift. :o

You'll have to try playing the Corpse Lance build, those crits will be blown out of the water pretty quickly!

I tried the Tra'Gouls corpse before the LazyArmor....was too much of a one-shot wonder for me.  I could kill elites/RG very quickly but couldn't do much against trash/mobs.  That's why I like LazyArmor so much, it'll still hit hard but doesn't only rely on CL. :)

Yeah, the build is the hyper-elite hunter of the game. You really can't do anything except hunt elites, but it's super effective to be fair!

I'm currently running this build, but using the Gem of Efficacious ToxinGem of Efficacious Toxin (Lv.35) instead of Mirinae, Teardrop of the StarweaverMirinae, Teardrop of the Starweaver.  And whilst I haven't got the best gear yet - I'm just running the two ancient pieces of the set, I haven't had a couple pieces of jewellery drop yet and I need the Reilena's ShadowhookReilena's Shadowhook to drop so I can cube the Trag'Oul's Corroded FangTrag'Oul's Corroded Fang I'm currently using I can still solo T13 rifts with ease and am up to GR62 at the moment.

I've been using this build for a long while and have gotten it as good as it can probably get without a full ancient setup. I've used both 2 handed and 1 handed and both can do GRs of 70+, so it really depends on your play style. Idk why its rank as a mid tear build when it can go pretty high?

      Hello Lads,
Sory to bother you, but I have small issues with summoning Golem and skeletons. For some reason yesterday during the game I press something or I did and can't summoning Golem and Skeletons anymore.
      I play on PS5 console
I'll attach few pictures to give you idea what I did or I gave to do to fix the problem.

Blizzard have moved the launch of Season 34 back a week!
While it was supposed to start today, Blizzard cite players not wanting the new D3 and D4 season launches to overlap on the same week, and needing more time to get the season properly set up, as the previous one ended early.
      Season 34 Delay (Source)
      Hi all
We have shifted the start for the new season of Diablo III to next week. This is due to a few items:
We received a good amount of feedback that many didn’t want overlap with the first weekend of Diablo IV’s new season. We agree so we are building out that gap and will be more mindful of that going forward.
This will help us properly ensure account states migrate over as we had an issue with the prior season rolling early and us having to kick things back on.
You can find the exact times on our Season 34 blog.

Blizzard has posted an official preview of Diablo 3's upcoming Season 34 that starts on January 24!
The ongoing Season 33 ends on January 19. Season 34 reintroduces the Light's Calling Season theme, which means players can obtain Angelic Crucibles, consumables that may be used to Sanctify any Legendary item, infusing it randomly with one of three new class-specific powers. Cosmetic rewards for the patch are as follows:
Completing the Season 34 Guarian journey grants the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.
Haedrig's Gift will award you with the following sets in Season 34:
Barbarian - Horde of the Ninety Savages Crusader - Aegis of Valor Demon Hunter - Gears of Dreadlands Monk - Patterns of Justice Witch Doctor - Mundunugu’s Regalia Wizard - Typhon’s Veil Necromancer - Masquerade of the Burning Carnival For more information about Season 34, check out the official blog post below.

Sanctuary needs you to answer its call for aid in Season 34: Light’s Calling. Starting on January 24 at 5 p.m. PST/CET/KST, Nephalem can harness the power of the Light’s Calling theme, which first debuted with Season 27. For an in-depth look at what’s coming, take a gander below. Also, Season 33 will officially come to an end on January 19.
      Seasonal Journey
      Season Theme
      Season Cosmetic Rewards
      Season Journey Rewards
      Seasonal Conquest
      Haedrig’s Gift
      Season Theme
Looking to turn the tide of an unremitting war between light and darkness, the Angels of the High Heavens have embedded a token of their righteousness in Sanctuary. Cunning Nephalem seeking an advantage in combat will undergo an angelic trial, crystallizing a symbol of their morality into pure, otherworldly perfection. The specific celestial force imbued within by the divine is unknown—an answer waiting to be sought on the battlefield. Go forth, Nephalem!
Season 34 reintroduces Light’s Calling. Valiant Nephalem who recover Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable item, may use them to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item, infusing it with one of three new class-specific powers at random. We wanted to use Angelic Crucibles to lean into the expertise of each class, further exemplifying its respective prowess, but through a nuanced lens. The High Heavens are home to ethereal splendor, bursting with boundless radiance—we wanted to provide players with a taste of untainted power as doled out from Heaven itself.

      Season Cosmetic Rewards
In Season 34, awards originally available from Season 10 are returning. In addition to the Head and Shoulder slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn the Black Soulstone themed portraits and the scholarly Loremaster pennant first introduced in Season 10.

However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic ones for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth alongside the Shades of the Nephalem and complete the Season 34 Guardian Journey to earn the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.

      Season Journey Rewards
If you’ve been diligently slaying demons before and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of five:
Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within five minutes. Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55. All I Do is Win: Complete two Conquests this Season. Life Goes On: Kill Maghda at level 70 in under 15 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty. Money Ain’t a Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty. Treasure Goblins outside of Nephalem Rifts will sometimes open portals to Greed’s domain, The Vault. Take U There: Reach Greater Rift Level 60 Solo. Greater Rift keystones can be obtained from any Nephalem Rift guardian. Power Amplification: Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a level 50+ gem. Cubic Reconfiguration: Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item. Return to Top
      Seasonal Conquest
Seasonal Conquests are additional goals you can complete as part of our Season Journey. To earn all the cosmetic rewards, you'll need to complete at least three of the Conquests below. The challenges available in Season 34 include:
Sprinter and Speed Racer task you with completing Acts I through V at max level in under one hour. Want to go fast while killing things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart are right up your alley. On A Good Day and I Can’t Stop are making a return, if leveling your Legendary Gems is more your thing. Finally, if you’re keen to prove your mastery of various Class Sets, Years of War and Dynasty will be returning along with Masters of the Universe and Masters of Sets. Best of luck! Return to Top
      Haedrig’s Gift

Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works.
Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. These contain a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!
The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. In this season, Haedrig's Gift will grant all-new class sets introduced with previous Seasons.
Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 34:
Barbarian - Horde of the Ninety Savages Crusader - Aegis of Valor Demon Hunter - Gears of Dreadlands Monk - Patterns of Justice Witch Doctor - Mundunugu’s Regalia Wizard - Typhon’s Veil Necromancer - Masquerade of the Burning Carnival Return to Top

It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.
      Season End (Source)
Heard and got some pings while I’ve been out and I have production checking on this early end. This shouldn’t have ended today so something is funky. Will provide an update once I hear back.
