Another "fix my dps" thread (affliction)

Hey guys - need some help right now. I think I am pulling the max dps possible in my gear and with my current haste rating, my uptimes are matching those of my fellow warlock guildies, although they both have the meta + cloak. Not sure if because I can't physically reach the haste pt of 9778 in my gear, maybe I should go destro or demo in the meanwhile? At least until I get the meta gem?

 

Here are my logs for Immerseus, Protectors, Norushen + Sha. Don't pay attention to galakras too much.

I don't even need to look at your logs to know they're going to look low if you don't have the cloak or meta gem.  They make SUCH a difference, especially for Affliction.

 

DoT uptimes look good, Haunt use is good.  I'd say you look like you're on your way...believe me when I say the cloak and meta gem make a huge difference...that's not an understatement.

Thats what I was thinking, my dot / haunt times are pretty much in line with the other two locks. Is it then just a question of gear? Should I stay affliction or dabble with destro until I get the meta  /  cloak?

Destro performs well...the meta is what separates Afflic from Demo, and that was before Destro nerfs.  I think Destro will be simpler for you, but for a fight like Protectors, you'd still want to be Affliction.
