Luthixx 138 Report post Posted June 29, 2017 I asked myself the same question many moons ago, but if you put up Crows at the start and pop BW after, it proactively buffs the current crows debuff on your target. I.e. if you use it before BW then you might get 1 tick without the damage buff, but the remainder will have the increased damage. If you use a 15 sec debuff on the target with 5 sec left of BW, you'll miss out on a huge amount of potential dps. My personal opener (2.5 - 3m every pull) is: Pre-pot -> AMoC -> BW -> DBx2 -> TT/AotW -> KC -> CS etc etc. You want to dump those charges of Dire Beast asap to avoid the horror that is proccing Wild Call on pull. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Meleys 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2017 Thx for the answer, but i still didnt get it. :/ i mean crows is a dot not a debuff, but okay i will miss some time in my bw window i i cast bw>crows. but still, i dont play with killer cobra due the legendary boots i got. right know i am playing the zoo build, 909 gs with 4p t19. i tried to push my dps with simcraft and pawn but i got left more confused then before. but thx for ur help anyway Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Crows takes 15 seconds to do its damage and it doesn't tick instantly, so you only lose the first GCD of crows out of Bestial Wrath, which is something like 50k damage or so. However, that GCD is enough to cast a Cobra Shot, Dire Beast or or Kill Command as well. The damage bonus during Bestial Wrath from one GCD worth of ticks of Crows is much lower than the damage bonus of one Cobra Shot, Dire Beast or Kill Command during Bestial Wrath. Say you've just cast crows and 4 seconds later put up BW, you will get 11 seconds worth of damage from BW applied to the crows dot on the target, whereas if you cast it right before you put up BW then you get all the remaining 'ticks' of damage bonus. Don't cast crows during BW, because then you're missing out on the damage bonus at the END of BW that you could've had during. Always link up your DoTs to cast them BEFORE the damage bonus. TL;DR Always cast AMoC followed straight away by BW. AMoC -> 1 sec -> BW = both finish around the same time, good dps. AMoC -> 5 sec -> BW = Finishes 5 sec before BW end, lose a lot of dps. BW -> 1+ sec -> BW = BW finishes before AMoC, lose dps at the end. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
