soul counduit Confused about level 100 demonology talents.

Hi, This is about Ice Veins Demonology 100 talent discussion. I'm greatly confused about this, since I can't see any synergy between Ascendance and Soul Conduit. If anyone could clarify this. I've already thought about it having something to do with summons. But it has to do with DE so yeah. Simply can't see the synergy with theese two together.

 Soul Conduit is the best option for single target and light cleave and should be your go-to for most encounters. This talent is only worthwhile if using  Thal'kiel's Ascendance.

TKA is the newest golden so the real decider is if your arty weapon has that ability yet.

So with SC you get shards refunded hence you will spend more shards. Spending more shards means more pets out in total which means (in theory) more TKA damage and that is where the synergy comes from. 

There's also an argument to be made if you summon more pets then you use DE more increasing the chance of a TKA. However, this is very minor and especially if you play with Power Trip as you will be casting DE instead of SB the majority of the time anyhow.

There is a very strong synergy between Soul Conduit, Thal'kiel's Ascendance, and the Shadowy Inspiration / Power Trip build for single target. You generate soul shards more quickly than the other Demonology builds, provided there is only one target, so it's easy to get to the point where you have 10+ demons and then you just spam Demonic Empowerment until a few of them despawn.

With the alternate talents like Demonic Calling, Hand of Doom, Grimoire of Synergy - which all make for a more forgiving and flexible playstyle, if you don't want to constantly respec - Soul Conduit becomes more of a situational thing. On heavy cleave for example, you can get a lot of shard return from Soul Conduit if you are able to spam Demonwrath and Hand of Gul'dan, but you can also get a lot of burst damage with Darkglare, so it's questionable whether that's a gain.
