I'm clearly missing something for Jade Druid. Best hand is you get a turn 2 wild growth, then turn 3 wildgrowth/jade blossom. Turn 4, you're on 6 mana, so you can either drop your auctioneer, then innovate > Jade Jade, of which one is a shuffle. Then you probably draw the innovate again, so you can jade>jade, one of which is a shuffle. End of turn 4, I have an auctioneer, a 1/1 and a 2/2. They all get killed pretty much every game, then I'm on turn 5 with nothing on my board and I have to recast the Auctioneer, meaning I basically have no mana.

What am I missing here?

Deck definitely has Spreading Plague in it, unless you're in the wrong thread?

Maybe @tbigfish refers to the cheap miracle druid deck.

I am currently trying with this but without a real miracle on the mulligan it seems quite impossible to win...

I did rogue with this list, at first try. I didnt get lucky with any specific draw to be honest. Stealing buffed Maexxna was cool though.

Main Shadowcaster targets are Antique Healbot and N'Zoth, the Corruptor obviously. Cult Apothecary could be fine as well. But it is more situational.

Fight Promoter draws two cards almost always, later in the game.

Once 2/6s hit the board, I just traded them with my board, this decks mostly have a good board presence, because there are no spells at all.

Thanks a lot for your deck suggestion. I was really struggeling with the mech rogue. Since I don't have Aya I swapped her and overlooked the healbots by accident in favour of both Stallag and Feugen as wall as Xaril. Worked like a charm :)

Yes, I was referring to that deck. I forgot that the adventure mode on Heartstone is basically Restart Simulator 2017, and you just have to sit and restart the game 1000 times until you get a hand that can win.

OMG finally beat using the mage guide. The other decks for mage were maddening.

If someone is looking for another choice for a shaman deck, I just beat him with a everyfin is awesome deck with the unite the merloc quest. It gets around his first turn of making your deck 1/1. Yes, the early game is a battle of control, but with everyfin is possible you can maintain creatures on the board and keep targeting him over the creatures he puts out. Here is my deck.

2x Deadscale Knight

2x Grimscale Oracle

2x Murloc Tidecaller

Unite the murlocs

2x Bilefin Tidehunter

2x Blowgill Sniper

2x Brrrloc

2x Ice Fishing

2x Murloc Tidehunter

2x Primalfin Totem

2x Rockpool Hunter

3x Coldlight Seer

2x Murloc Warleader

2x Primalfin Lookout

Call in the Finishers

2x Everyfin is Awesome

feel free to trade out any Murloc for another type, the point is to rush out the quest and fill your hand with full stat murloc and early game you fill the board with stat booster Murloc like the oracle and warleader and seer

enjoy

I through in the jade behemoths and defender of argus  to help with some blocks while you build up your jade

Interesting thought ,although i admit it seemed useless not because of the cards' value but of the fact that still it all depends on the mulligan and yet you have no guarantee to succeed. Now i will try it back again, maybe it really works!

I still think the way they made the lich king battle is not the best work they did (gameplay and fun wise). Having the right cards (for many decks expensive ones) is a must and restart so often that you could give birth to a child in that time.

I agree.

I started with Shaman + Druid and had a lot of fun with him - because those two are fair fights.

And fights you can win without restarting tons of times, without an expensive deck and it isn't that hard to draw cards which make the fight winable.

In other words: I made a deck and played against Lich.

But then I tried mage and read some things about warrior / paladin.

Well, for those decks I lack some cards and when some specific cards have to come on a specific turn to win the fight - what exactly is the "playing" here?

More or less it seems like a script: If you don't get the perfect draw - restart, script won't work.

If you get the correct card - win.

Since you only get a portrait (which I'd like to have I admit) it isn't necessary to win more then one fight (and druid is piece of cake) that isn't terrible or something like that.

But some of the fights are just badly designed, because pressing "restart" isn't playing IMO.

Nevertheless, the whole Lich-King expansion fights were lots of fun and I'd give them a 8/10 :)

I like they adventure in general that they made it free to play, sadly they made it ppl want to pay. The fights before The Lich King are cool and you get card pack and one free Hero Card that's great but all in all I give the adventure experience a a 6/10, mostly due to the last battle.

The KFT adventure is a completely different concept compared to the previous ones.In Blackrock Mountain the difficulty was overall high but with proper decks and just the right amount of card play you could win.In KFT the whole adventure before LK is somewhat easier and LK himself can be close to impossible if you don't have what it takes and restart a gazillion times.

In other words, players have to play a lot more in order to win but the fun level is lower IMO.Definitely a 6/10 for me too.

You are not.

Some Lich King fights require quite expensive decks to have a chance.

But that is not that big of a problem as it sounds - you only miss a (nicely) animated hero portrait.

To get the free pack it is enough to beat him with one class. And e.g. Jade-Druid is easy and cheap.

I don't have all the cards for perfect decks but still enough for the encounter I think but after a few tries I simply got bored by the same over and over, restarting again and again. Horribly made by the devs just to squeeze money out of their players. I got the card pack, who cares about the blonde beauty, really nice if you get lucky to have the required cards and the luck with card draws or endless patience, otherwise totally not worth the time.

I did shaman, pala, mage and warlock with murlocs, decks were quite cheap. My version of mill warrior didnt have any legendaries, and only some epics, hunter was completely about getting the good Fledgeling and 2 mana 2/2 guy. My rogue list was expensive, you may find cheaper versions though. Jade druid and dragon priest were the other decks.

I, however, agree that some encounters need many restarts.

I didn't want to say it's unbeatable or only with tons of big cards. I just think, not worth my time :D

You can try cheaper deck, as I did (for other classes, I have naxxramas :) ).

If you search, there is a lot of budget deck for any classes. I used budget deck for paladin, rogue and shaman. I think that something could work even for warrior...

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/919669-budget-lich-king

This is an example, google gave me many deck to try.... Just remember: budget deck work ONLY if you get the dream hand. If you don't, restart until you do.

Hearthstone is taking a bold step into the StarCraft universe with "Heroes of StarCraft: The Great Dark Beyond," a 49-card mini-set launching in January 2025.
Featuring iconic factions like Zerg, Protoss, and Terran, complete with legendary leaders Sarah Kerrigan, Artanis, Jim Raynor, this set blends StarCraft nostalgia with Hearthstone's gameplay.
Additionally, Arena Mode is getting a massive overhaul, introducing shorter Normal Arena runs and a high-stakes Underground Arena with a game matching "re-draft on loss" mechanic, giving you the option to re-draft cards, edit your deck, and keep your run alive, after you lose.
The year ahead promises 3 expansions, including the Emerald Dream's battle between Old Gods and Druids, a return to Un'Goro Crater, and a Chromie-led journey through alternate realities.

Hearthstone: Heroes of StarCraft – The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set
Early next year, Hearthstone is going beyond Warcraft and into... Heroes of StarCraft! This special Mini-Set will have a whopping 49 new cards across three themed factions, which show what the StarCraft universe would look like in the Hearthstone Tavern. Each faction is made up of cards that can be used across multiple classes, including an iconic Hero card.
       Zerg
Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock have joined the Zerg! Led by the formidable  Sarah Kerrigan, they will have aggressive cards that win the game by swarming the board.
       Protoss
Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue fight for the Protoss Empire. Led by the High Templar Artanis, they will have powerful, high-cost cards that are made cheaper throughout the game.
       Terran
Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior make up the Terran forces, led by the one and only Jim Raynor. They will command Battlecruisers—a special take on the Starship mechanic from The Great Dark Beyond.
The Mini-Set will feature a slew of StarCraft units which are sure to invoke nostalgia, as well as the Terran-armored Murloc, Grunty, and new, thematic music. You can chart a course for the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, launching in January 2025! More announcements, details, and card reveals are coming closer to launch.
       Major Arena Updates
Then, for the first time in 10 years, Arena Mode is getting a major overhaul. With that update, there will be two kinds of Arena to choose from. Normal Arena will be shorter form, allowing you to complete your runs more quickly. Competitive Arena players will be able to play in the higher-stakes Underground Arena, with longer runs and a new feature: Re-Draft on Loss. Re-Draft on Loss means that, after you lose, you’ll have the option to re-draft cards, edit your deck, and keep your run alive.
Ratings will also be added to both Normal and Underground Arena. Normal, skill-based matchmaking will be used for Normal Arena. Underground Arena throws caution to the wind and lets you face off against opponents of all skill levels.
This major Arena revamp is coming in the first half of next year. Look out for more details about this update closer to when it goes live.
A Preview of the Year Ahead: The Year of the Raptor!
On top of those updates, Hearthstone has an exciting year of expansions ahead, with much-requested themes, locations, and familiar faces across Azeroth.
In the first expansion of the year, enter the Emerald Dream and join the battle between the Old Gods and the Druids of the Emerald Dream for the fate of the World Tree. Things will heat up even more when the Druids of the Flame light up the Mini-Set (releasing earlier than normal this year, during the 32.2 Patch).
The second expansion of the year will be Hearthstone’s first-ever sequel: the return to Un’Goro Crater! Join Elise on a hunt for a mythical, lost Tortollan city. When you find it, join the Tortollans in a festival to celebrate the mighty dinosaurs of the crater in the 33.4 Mini-Set.
In the third expansion of the year, travel with Chromie through alternate realities to recruit Legendary Warcraft heroes like you’ve never seen them before. Leading to the 34.4 Mini-Set: an epic showdown against Murozond at the end of time!
