Greenthy 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2013 After a 4 year gap I'm starting to level up my warlock again. With the scroll I've upped my lock from 70 to 80 and am now as an 85 and upwards. Now apart from finding myself with an unfamiliar lock, icyveins has helped me see some light through all the changes since TBC. But with the huge raid gap I would like to get a jumpstart at prepping my itemlvl. Any tips/guides/suggestions you guys could spare? So i can start doing the right quests, dungeons etc.
Omaric 246 Report post Posted October 1, 2013 I recommend heading right to the Timeless Isle once you've hit level 90. Do all the quests there and run around and kill stuff. They drop 496 ilvl gear. Supplement all this with getting a heroic scenario in daily (as soon as you have the ilvl), as well as LFR. You should slowly be able to squeak yourself into some flex raids if you're persuasive enough.
EgoReaper 9 Report post Posted October 1, 2013 Supplement all this with getting a heroic scenario in daily (as soon as you have the ilvl) They actually removed the item level requirement if I remember correctly. So just jump right in and try to find some people wanting to run a Heroic Scenario. (potential 516 gear)
Greenthy 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2013 Thank you, I will try those out. But are there any zones/quests that transition to prepping? I mean like in certain rep, opening other quest chains, etc... On a side note, I'm sad to see the new take on talents, specialisation and demons. Zagam 1,982 Report post Posted October 2, 2013 Quests and pre-90 gear have no relevance to your experience at 90. When you hit 90, it's a brand new game. Get to 90 then focus on Timeless Isle gearing up while working on your Legendary Quest chain.
