1) Yes this does count for Conquest. Just did the full 6 class sets @ gr55, and got credit for one of my conquests.

2) wanted to link this odd build, which I used to finish this conquest... was having difficulty getting the bone armor set, and rathma's faceplanted as soon as I stepped through the door of a 55... so went with a set I usually avoid - the blood thirsty Tragoul's.
Didn't like the 'suggested' build for Trag - so did some tinkering, and came up with this: https://www.d3planner.com/788921076

I'm calling it the "Blood Bombing Run"... because it ends up functioning very much like the Monk Bells build. Finished the 55 in sub-optimal set, with no problems. I even saw afterwards, that I had the Paragon in gold farm mode, instead of optimized for the build, and STILL made it WELL within the time limits.

Other sets used for easiest farming to complete this conquest:
(Monk - first toon this season - so most sets)
Monkey King Bells build
Uliana's Stratagem
Inna's Mantra
(Witch Doctor)
Arachnid set (because Kadala was obsessing about Spiders this go around)
Zuni Pet build
(Necro - who was super squishy this season - although i'm usually running bone armor inarius set, so i'm used to being tanky)
Tragoul's "Blood Bombing Run"

Enjoy and Happy Conquesting!

Bear in mind not every set counts. The challenge has a list of what set counts towards it.

Guest question

2 very quick and probably dumb questions but will ask them anyway:

1. does it need to be with ALL the items of a set or can I use the ring of royal grandeur as well

2. Can I do it with ANY 6 sets or do they need to be specific sets (And no I am not talking about the minor sets its just that for some sets I get an achievement pop up and for other I do not). If it is specific sets how can I see which ones?

Yes, the Ring of Royal Grandeur counts. Can do the Years of War with 5 set pieces and the RoRG.

not all the sets listed here are in the conquest.  for instance, the seekers of light set is not on the in game list under the conquest.

I've been searching and searching, but haven't found a concise answer to the question of whether or not I can complete the Years of War conquest using two NON-necromancer sets while playing as a Necromancer.

I know this is somewhat discussed under 'Things that Are Not Bugs', but they're vague as to how long it will take to check off certain conquests. So far it's been three days since my first completion of a GR55 while wearing the Inna's set (and RoRG) and there's been no change. Just completed another with the Vyr's set, which should finish the conquest.

Mostly just want to know if I have to start building up another character or if I should just be patient. Thanks!

The Conquest requires: "The Years of War conquest requires that you reach Greater Rift Level 55 Solo with the full bonuses of six class sets."

As you can not trigger set bonuses on a class set that is not for the class you are playing as, I would have to presume the answer to your query is "no".

Hi everyone, I've done 4 GR55 with two barbs and two crusaders, both credited but I've created a DH using Shadwo Mandle Impale and not getting credited. I'm using the full 6 set.  I'm new to Diablo so I'm wondering if I'm missing something?  Thanks

It really should not be the case! A GR55 with the full Shadow's Mantle 6-piece set should give you credit.

Very strange. I have definitely completed this Conquest with 5 pieces + RoRG in the past. Could it be a bug with this Season in particular? It's a strange suggestion, but - is your RoRG equipped in the 4th (bonus) slot for this Season's mechanic? If it is, would it work if you move it out of there?

I know its very late to answer, but in case someone want to absolutely use only one slot there is some set that can grant "bugged" gr55 with another class. I verified this with a crusader on season 24 : MotE barb, Natalya DH, SWK monk, Zuni and Jade WD. Those 5 set have at least 5 piece usable by all class so ring of royal grandeur maybe necesary.

Question: I am playing the new season, 28, in April of 2023.  This list of acceptable 6pc sets differs from the one on the onquest list on the switch itself in Diablo 3.  Is the list different for 28?

Blizzard have moved the launch of Season 34 back a week!
While it was supposed to start today, Blizzard cite players not wanting the new D3 and D4 season launches to overlap on the same week, and needing more time to get the season properly set up, as the previous one ended early.
      Season 34 Delay (Source)
      Hi all
We have shifted the start for the new season of Diablo III to next week. This is due to a few items:
We received a good amount of feedback that many didn’t want overlap with the first weekend of Diablo IV’s new season. We agree so we are building out that gap and will be more mindful of that going forward.
This will help us properly ensure account states migrate over as we had an issue with the prior season rolling early and us having to kick things back on.
You can find the exact times on our Season 34 blog.

Sanctuary needs you to answer its call for aid in Season 34: Light’s Calling. Starting on January 24 at 5 p.m. PST/CET/KST, Nephalem can harness the power of the Light’s Calling theme, which first debuted with Season 27. For an in-depth look at what’s coming, take a gander below. Also, Season 33 will officially come to an end on January 19.

      Season Theme
Looking to turn the tide of an unremitting war between light and darkness, the Angels of the High Heavens have embedded a token of their righteousness in Sanctuary. Cunning Nephalem seeking an advantage in combat will undergo an angelic trial, crystallizing a symbol of their morality into pure, otherworldly perfection. The specific celestial force imbued within by the divine is unknown—an answer waiting to be sought on the battlefield. Go forth, Nephalem!
Season 34 reintroduces Light’s Calling. Valiant Nephalem who recover Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable item, may use them to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item, infusing it with one of three new class-specific powers at random. We wanted to use Angelic Crucibles to lean into the expertise of each class, further exemplifying its respective prowess, but through a nuanced lens. The High Heavens are home to ethereal splendor, bursting with boundless radiance—we wanted to provide players with a taste of untainted power as doled out from Heaven itself.

Sprinter and Speed Racer task you with completing Acts I through V at max level in under one hour. Want to go fast while killing things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart are right up your alley. On A Good Day and I Can’t Stop are making a return, if leveling your Legendary Gems is more your thing. Finally, if you’re keen to prove your mastery of various Class Sets, Years of War and Dynasty will be returning along with Masters of the Universe and Masters of Sets. Best of luck! Return to Top
      Haedrig’s Gift

Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works.
Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. These contain a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!
The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. In this season, Haedrig's Gift will grant all-new class sets introduced with previous Seasons.
Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 34:
Barbarian - Horde of the Ninety Savages Crusader - Aegis of Valor Demon Hunter - Gears of Dreadlands Monk - Patterns of Justice Witch Doctor - Mundunugu’s Regalia Wizard - Typhon’s Veil Necromancer - Masquerade of the Burning Carnival Return to Top

It seems something went very wrong with Season 33, as it it just... ended a while ago. Players took to the forums as there was no early warning, other than a server message around an hour before it all ended. PezRadar responded clarifying that this is not intended and that Blizzard are looking into what happened.
      Season End (Source)
Heard and got some pings while I’ve been out and I have production checking on this early end. This shouldn’t have ended today so something is funky. Will provide an update once I hear back.
