Mendes 14 Report post Posted November 23, 2017 (edited) I would personally say that the WW mon sounds safer. Enhancement shamans are very squishy and okay low on damage compared to Arms and WW. Combined with the Disc a WW is amazing, they have their own high mobility and healing so the disc priest can focus on DPS and healing the Arms. When I play Disc in 3v3 or 2v2, its hard for me sometimes if both my DPS are squishy. I play with a Frost mage and WW works perfectly, they both have high mobility so they can kite + a lot of safe/def CDs. Also its really good to have something that can CC, and Arms warrior or warrior, in general, don't have they much CC. If I'm right they have Shockwave and Stormbolt which both are in the same talent tier + a fear. Here the WW comes in, they have a lot of CCs, slow, paralyze, legswep and fist of fury. This together with the damage of an arms warrior could easily pick out someone or help your healer survive. - I hope it helps, if you have a question about this or anything else please comment it on this thread or VIA PM. :) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Dabria, signing off peace" *Levitates out over the edge and disappears* I apologize for any misspelling or confusion in my writing, do ask if there's a question. Warrior and Priest has been a terrible combination for a while now, mainly due to the fact that Warriors need a support more than a healer in 3s. They are hyper-sensitive to CC and it means they need something that can ensure kill potential. Realistically, this means playing in a burst comp (with a high burst DPS) and a Holy Paladin or MW Monk. Given that, I assume, your friends don't want to reroll, you've got two choices: Play to the strength of the warrior. Play to the strength of the healer. In the first case, you need something that can finish what a Warrior can't. Take a high burst and high mobility hero, such as a Havoc DH, or take a high burst and ranged hero, such as an Elemental Shaman. Ele/Warr/Healer is normally played with a Druid or MW for Thundercleave, but it still works very well. The Shaman is very easily able to survive alone due to kiting potential, meaning your Priest can babysit the Warrior, which is ideal. Since you're leveling a Shaman already, this might be your best choice. If you're open to playing DH, it works very well with Warrior too. They are incredibly mobile, they have high sustain damage and their burst is fantastic, as well as being very hard to prevent. In the second case, you need something works well with a Priest. WW works to some degree, but normally only when accompanied by an Arcane Mage for burst potential. Your WW sets up, your Mage kills. This doesn't really work with the Warrior, since their burst is so easy to prevent through kiting/CC, something that is far more difficult to do on an Arcane Mage. The Mage also has far higher sustain damage than the Warrior. Realistically, I'd recommend swapping your Shaman to Elemental and playing Thundercleave with Priest. It's not ideal, it's better with RDruid/MW, but you gotta work with what you've got.
joecarpenter188 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2017 The warrior is prepared to reroll mage, so priest, mage, windwalker sounds a good shout. Thanks guys
Mendes 14 Report post Posted November 23, 2017 You very much welcome. Remember, if you really good at a class, sometimes what meta isn't meta against you. We played Disc and 2 subtly rogue, went from 1300ish rating to 2000ish rating. If there's anything more I can do, just post it on this thread or via PM. have a great black Friday (soon) Good luck and "For Azeroth" ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Dabria, signing off peace" *Levitates out over the edge and disappears* I apologize for any misspelling or confusion in my writing, do ask if there's a question.
