Spec select

hi guys

i got my mage to 90 yesterday

and i can't decide which spec to go with

my current ilvl is 478

i like arcane, but i think to try out fire

which one of these is best? :)

For those low item levels frost will rock the other 3 specs.

 

However, if you really only want to choose between fire and arcane, you should go with arcane in raids. Fire will start performing on the same level at about 40% crit rating.
