Dragonglass is an 18+ friendly and semi-hardcore guild on Illidan. We’re a group of mostly longtime players, many of whom have played together in various guilds over the years. We enjoy mythic+, raiding, & leveling alts. We have consistently achieved AoTC for most of the raids since the guild formed and will continue to strive for that in upcoming raids. Most of us are active on US CST evenings and weekends due to jobs and families, etc.
We are actively looking for dedicated players interested in all aspects of WoW and having fun. We are currently recruiting for both of our raid teams for 11.0 and beyond!

*All tradeable loot is distributed using a loot council system. We view gear as a tool to assist in progression and farm, and all loot decisions are made by the officers with the intent to improve our ability to kill future bosses.

Warlock Balance Druid ABOUT US
We formed at the beginning of BoD and have achieved Cutting Edge in the major raid tiers since then, and plan to keep doing so throughout the rest of BFA into Shadowlands. We're currently looking for skilled raiders for the current and upcoming raid tiers.
We provide cauldrons and vantus runes for every raid night. Raiders are expected to bring their own food, pre-pots, and healing pots.
Our trial period is at minimum a month. Keep in mind that our end-times can be extended by up to one hour for boss progression. You are expected to be able to continue raiding when we choose to extend, so make sure your schedule allows for this.
GOALS
We want to establish a group of committed individuals to pursue Mythic content to achieve Cutting Edge. Not at breakneck speed, but at a constant rate of progression.
EXPECTATIONS
Our raiders should be willing to put the effort into clearing Mythic raids, as well as doing sufficient prep-work outside of raid. (Leveling your HoA, M+, expeditions, WQs.) You should know when you should be serious and when you can joke around (i.e. joking around on trash or farm bosses vs being serious on progression).
We try to keep a roster of 21-23 raiders. This is so we have a diverse lineup that can be adjusted for different encounters and is still able to raid on weekends when people are absent. We encourage a 90%+ attendance record. We understand real life happens, but if you are on our roster, we expect you'll commit time to our raid hours and prep requirements.

GOALS FOR BfA
In Battle for Azeroth we plan to push Mythic more than we did previously in Legion, and not spend nearly as much time on Heroic. 
This means we will jump into Mythic/Heroic weekends as soon as the majority of the Heroic gear is done. (Mythic Friday and Heroic Sunday, for example, until we phase Heroic out completely.)

<Pickle Palace> is a recently formed guild on Illidan, but is made up of veteran players who wanted to take a step back from semi-hardcore raiding. We are currently raiding Mythic Antorus (9/11), with our goal being to finish it out before the end of the expansion. Our community is actively playing outside of raid time, pushing M+ and hanging out on discord.

We raid on a 2 day schedule. Our raid days are Tuesday and Wednesday 9-12 EST. And will be adding a 3rd raid day for BfA! (Thursday or Monday)

Expectations
Have a great attitude every night. Be prepared for every raid; this includes purchasing consumables and studying encounter strategies. We provide feast/codex/flasks other consumables are your responsibility Zero tolerance policy for criticizing others' performance. Officers will take care of it, worry about yourself and yourself only. Be critical of your performance and take time outside of raiding hours to analyze warcraftlogs for personal improvement. Have fun. We love playing with each other in a friendly, team-oriented, boss-crushing atmosphere -- and you should too! Must be able to tolerate adult language
