Glyph for Mirror Image

Hey guys, new to Arcane spec and just wanted to know about a glyph I saw that allows you to cast Arcane Blast instead of Frostbolt for your Mirror Image images.

 

Does this allow the images to generate  Arcane Charges as well whilst thier up if I use this glyph?

Nope, Mirror images do the same DPS with or without the glyph.

Ok thanks, wasnt really to worried about the dps thing just wanted to know if the images will proc Arcane Charges or not if I use that glyph.

Nope, Mirror images do the same DPS with or without the glyph

Mirror Images that cast Frostbolt do 50% more damage. This change was a few patches ago.

 

There's also a 10% damage change, but I'm not sure how that plays out.

I am pretty sure they did that, because everyone was using the glyph of Mirror Image as a mandatory, because with it the images dealt more damage. Consequently, blizzard made this change so there would be no difference between a frost or an arcane mirror image.
