Fenix is Warping into the Nexus Soon

I would still call the third Fenix, Fenix. Fenix's whole identity is basically about fighting on after death. Hence the name Fenix. Although I kinda wonder if he shouldn't be renamed Redshirt for how often he dies?

They already have a mech ultimate with Tychus though, so even having a Dragoon that can replace with a new mech would be kind of a let down. For me to enjoy Fenix, it needs to be option three, with all three armours available to adapt as a multi-class. Just too much of a waste opportunity otherwise. It would also signal an end to future multi-classes if they skipped it this time.

Fenix didn't become a fan favorite because they randomly decided to give some zealot/dragoon a name and bonus stats. He was noble, brave, cunning and clever strategist (among many other things). They let him on a suicide last stand defense and he fought to the bitter end. When Tassadar gave himself up, he organised the rescue mission. He never really trusted Kerrigan and turned out he was right. His death was of the most saddening and disappointing moments in the history of SC. And how they further treated him in SC 2 story until LotV spurred fans more; Raynor suddenly forgetting all about one of his best friends then in HotS throwing a bone with him confronting Kerrigan about it.

Yes, I agree, he HAS to be a Multiclass. Everything fits; I don't care if Talandar isn't Fenix. The Fenix in HotS doesn't need to be a 100% accurate lore-wise character; it is an idea enveloped around said character, an universal representation of him. Making him a Multiclass that can switch between forms will be perfect.

I agree Fenix is a very good opportunity for a Multiclass hero, but it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be the 3 armor suits from Co-Op, assuming the one in the teaser is the Solarite Dragoon, for that. He could change between a Zealot and a Dragoon if he's to have that rebirth mechanic they mentioned some time ago. Also, if he doesn't turn out to be Multiclass that won't mean the end days for it; they could still bring Multiclass in the game if they so choose (Druids, Paladins?). I'll be disappointed if he's just a dragoon tho- yes, it is the form he stayed the longest and most remembered as but that would take away from him lore-wise and also waste a lot of design and gameplay potential.

No rebirth mechanic like that old interview said either (we don't know full talents yet but something so powerful would probably be mentioned in the spotlight), guess direction changed when Browder left. Kinda sad he's just a Dragoon for reasons I explained above but still insta-unlocking him, love him so much and been waiting him since beta when I started playing. I have around 69k gold saved up but it may be the first time I'll use gems.

Maybe in a near future we could get Talandar as the new multiclass.

On a side note, I'd love to see Karax as a new Support for the StarCraft Heroes.

Yeah, he can be his own character for sure. About Karax idk, there's already Probius who warps in stuff and Artanis with the Spear of Adun abilities. For a support, they could bring a Sentry or one of the campaign variations perhaps. Personally, I'd love to see Kaldalis, when I saw the Reclamation video and learned that he's the last Zealot surviving in LotV opening cinematic from the starting group, the feels... I know Artanis is pretty much an oversized and overdressed zealot but they can sure make him unique and Artanis could use a rework imho. I'd also love an Archon hero. Vorazun/Raszagal would be interesting as a female touch, but aside Vorazun's multiple blink strike ability idk how different they can be from Zeratul (Selendis piloting a Carrier?)

Brightwing Base Soothing Mist [Trait] Fixed an issue that caused Smoothing Mist to activate around Brightwing when in Stasis. Dehaka Fixed an issue where Basic Attack's would potentially not consume evade stacks if attacking within .25 seconds of Drag ending. Jaina Level 16 Snowstorm Fixed an issue that caused Snowstorm's bonus to not apply correctly. Kael'thas Level 7 Sunfire Enchantment Fixed an issue that caused an active Sunfire Enchantment Spell Power buff to be removed when Kael'thas is killed. Kharazim Level 10 Divine Palm Fixed an issue that caused Divine Palm's Stasis to remove Damage Over Time effects from Kharazim. Fixed an issue that caused Divine Palm to not remove negative effects that were applied alongside the triggering effect. Leoric Base Drain Hope [W] Fixed an issue that caused Stasis on Leoric or Drain Hope's target to not break Drain Hope. Li Li Fixed an issue that caused Water Serpent to move at a reduced speed. Malthael Level 1 Fear The Reaper Fixed an issue that caused Fear the Reaper's duration indicator to not be tied to the ability button. The Butcher Fixed an issue that allowed The Butcher to disjoint while collecting Fresh Meat. The Lost Vikings Fixed an issue that caused Longboat to move at a reduced speed. Tychus Level 20 Focusing Diodes Now grants an additive damage bonus. Whitemane Level 10 Divine Reckoning Updated Divine Reckoning's mana restoration based off of damage dealt to display only one instance of floating text.
