Narev 2 Report post Posted April 16, 2018 So I've been playing for several months and have some decent cards, but I'm honestly frustrated to the point where I just don't care any more. I never have the cards for even budget decks from here, and the non-budget ones frequently involve multiple legendaries I just plain don't have. Facing the same decks over and over is honestly pretty boring. I'd estimate a good half of my ranked games were against the same Dragon Priest deck. I've been saving my dust to craft a legendary, but I'm honestly almost to the point of packing it in here. I had a Silver Hand deck I had worked on and tuned, then Witchwood hits and I have to reevaluate a bit. I'm just not sure I want to even bother. Caldyrvan 377 Report post Posted April 16, 2018 Well, it's pretty boring but complaining about facing the same decks over and over again (what I totally understand ) but playing a dude pala which was(is?) still among the popular decks, that's funny. Anyway, even though it's still early in the year of the raven I can see there will be little room for midrange decks, just go aggro/face or control. And since most players seem to want to win at all cost all what you complained about will stay the same as it was.

To add some information about your collection? Maybe we'll found some deck you can enjoy.... Then, you have to say what are your goals. If you want to get fun is a very different matter then if you want to get legend... Last but not least, can I suggest you to try wild? There are a lot more budget deck you can play here, and you'll never face twice the same deck until a very low rank...

I liked the Silver Hand deck cause I could mobilize quickly and rally back. I also learned a lot building and tuning it. I actually have about 1400 dust saved up, I was going to craft Uther of the Ebon blade, but maybe several smaller cards would be a better use.

I don't suggest the paladin DK, he isn't that strong, and the token he spawns aren't silver hand recruit, so they don't synergize. I would suggest Sunkeeper Tarim, if you don't own it. Would you like to share the decklist? Maybe we can suggest something...
BenTpe 3 Report post Posted April 17, 2018 (edited) Hey Narev, my situation is roughly similar to yours, i started maybe 2 months ago, followed Icy Veins guides, and crafted a Paladin deck that served me well until witchwood. This being said, did you see that one of the first 10 packs you open in each expansion has a legendary? Didnt you get one or two legendaries when opening Witchwood? For me the legendaries I got were enough to craft Tarim and most of the Paladin deck. Since this deck doesnt work as well anymore I am now playing casual just to gather gold, with a very average rogue, hunter or paladin deck. I dont know why, My win rate is pretty good in casual while i get absolutely destroyed in Ranked now. So you should hold on and craft something flexible like Baku that fits well in Paladin but also other decks, I guess you have most other cards, if not do call to arms its great! Good luck with the game, i think the key is to keep playing to get enough basic and rare cards that fit in most decks before you can later focus on crafting epic/legendary you like or need :) Edited April 17, 2018 by BenTpe
