Fire Mage Addons question

Hey everyone - I'm coming back to WOW after a 3 year break and I'm leveling a mage (fire lvl 33) - something I wanted to do before leaving.  I have read the articles on the addon but is that it?  I'm curious  what addons do you use for leveling, mobs, dungeons, etc...

There are 2 base addons that would make everyone's life easier: "ElvUI" and "Weak Auras 2".

ElvUI contains Quality of Life (QoL) improvements like: 
1. Single bag frame with sorting functionality. 
2. Simple nameplates (health bars above enemies) and unit frames (character & target health bars)
3. Customization for action bars and easy keybinds.

Weak Auras 2 (WA2) helps track and display certain conditions like:
1. Showing when a spell is off cooldown
2. The remaining timer for a debuff or buff.
Some people prefer "TellMeWhen", but WA2 is highly programmable.

Another 2 QoL addons are "TomTom" and "Paste".
TomTom is a navigation addon, and Paste just makes it easier to use.
Example is you are looking for the location of certain NPCs online and get their coordinates, then you input those coordinates in TomTom.

Leveling addons that I've used are "WoWPro"  and "ConsLegion".

End-Game dungeons and raiding addons I recommend are:
"Details!" or "Skada" as your DPS meter.
"Deadly Boss Mods" for tracking fight mechanics (When is the boss going to use X spell)

End-Game open world questing I would recommend "World Quest Tracker" and "World Quest Group Finder".
The tracker shows a nice list of World Quests for each zone with their rewards.
The group finder allows you to quickly group up with other players doing the quests

      Last patch gave us 40% and 10% damage increase on ray of frost and glacial spike
      Does anyone know of these changes make them relevant ?
      Should frost mage play with these or one of these now ?

      Howdy,
      I use Icy-Veins a lot when learning a new class and I am super lazy so I made a rotation helper profile for each class in TellMeWhen using the guides provided here.
      They can tell when you are in an AoE situation (melee and ranged) and will also not suggest abilities you have not yet unlocked.
      I have also tried to keep them as minimal as possible so you can modify them as you wish by adding/removing components

      Combustion and Meteor timings.

      Hi everyone. So I've read the guide on fire mage here on Icy-veins and got some questions related to single target rotation. First I'd like to ask about the meteor. It is mentioned that meteor should be used with Rune of Power which is fairly easy to do since Rune of Power is always ready when Metor is off cooldown. However It's also mentioned that Meteor should always be available when Combustion comes off cooldown. Now Combustion has a 2 min cooldown and meteor has 45 sec cooldown. I can use meteor twice while Combustion is on cooldown. However If I use Meteor twice , It is on cooldown when Combustion is ready. Should I wait for Combustion and not cast Meteor on the second time until Combustion is ready?
      Second what I'd like to ask is about Combustion after the opener. Its mentioned that I need a hot streak before I pop It. I fish for Pyros by casting Fireball until I get a crit and then use Fire Blast. However when I get an Hot streak I'm already mid-casting Fireball. Should I cancel the cast and cast Rune of Power or should I let that Fireball hit and immediately after start casting Rune of Power?
      It's also mentioned that I need to have a Fire Blast charge always ready before going in Combustion phase. Should I save up a charge and ignore the Heating Ups I get regardless and hope for Fireball to crit twice or basically wait for Fire Blast to get another charge?
