I'm just a bit "sad" is not possible for mythic raids, but i do absolutely understand why. They would rather invest more time into proper boss-designes (and mythic flexraids :-D). But of course, there are other things. For example it is much more "impersonal". As i left WoW, you read a guild-name (and also player name) and you knew what it stands for. Today, i got no idea due to this "serverhoping"/"crossrealm" thing.
