llCRAWFORDll 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2018 Hello everyone. I'm very new to WoW.. Like 1 week new. My class is a undead warrior and I played to LVL 20 and liked the game so I purchased the expansion and boosted my warrior to 110. Now im more lost than ever. I don't know the interface of the game and what everything means. Can someone help me with learning the basics or point me in the right direction of a complete beginner of WoW? Tips & tricks or some knowledge from some of the veterans of the WoW community? Thank you guys for your time.

jinsu2301 273 Report post Posted July 6, 2018 this really shows the issue I have with the boost. they either need to put out a big warning at the start that you probably want to level a char all the way first before using the boost, or implent a proper introduction. that 3 minute airship tutorial is obviously not enough if you are new to the game. So true. But to be honest: boosting a char without any or a few knowledge of a game is always not the best idea. Eventually it would be better to not allow to boost a char, if you havent at least one at maxlevel. If you level a char, you are not overwhelmed with all the skills and how you can use them. There is still so much to learn in endgame how to use spells properly. The guide Stan posted is pretty cool, but still sooooo much information if you want to read it up completely. So i like to give you just some general input how to progress: Don't get stressed by all the things you have to lern, otherwise it will be frustrating. Don't be frustrated if other players blame you, stay over it. Often its a good idea to officiale state that you're new and you appreciate help and support. So if you join a dungeon-group, give you members a hint: /p Hi mates, i'm pretty new to the game. If you like to, you can call me noob, but i would rather prefer if you can give me any advise and explanation :-). First, read to your spells and understand what they do. Place your spells in the actionbars in a way you don't have to click you mainspells. You can also configure the hotkeys of each spell-slot - use this! Try to create your Interface as you like it. You don't even have to install an addon. You can move around the standard-controls. Just google it or try it out yourself. Learn by playing and read up some guides. Step by step. You like to know how you can gear up - google it! There are many guides out there. Try to learn from other players and ask, if you don't understand something. Best thing you could do: try to find an ingame mate and just whipser (/w playername message) if you can aks some questions. At the end: its just a game, enjoy it!
