Hall of the Brave Outpost in Orgrimmar

Unlike Dark Iron Dwarves, Mag'har Orcs do not come with an own city. Instead, Blizzard updated Orgrimmar's Valley of Honor with a new outpost called Hall of the Brave that will serve the Mag'har Orcs as a base in the coming expansion.

In the recruitment scenario, Mag'har Orcs will fight the Lightbound and flee Draenor with Eitrigg. We found the following scenario steps associated with the event:

Tyranny of the Light (Mag'har Orcs Unlock Scenario)

Travel to Beastwatch

  • Go to the aid of Beastwatch! It is the site of an impending assault by the Lightbound.

The Lightbound

  • Defend Beastwatch against the Lightbound assault.

Evermorn Hold

  • Track down Exarch Orelis in Evermorn Hold.

Exarch Orelis

  • Defeat the Lightbound Exarch.

Report to the Warchief

  • Return to Grommash Hellscream at Beastwatch.

Defense at Beastwatch Tower

  • Use the turret at the top of Beastwatch Tower to defend the Mag'har.

Narrow Escape

  • Escape Draenor with Eitrigg and the Mag'har.

Orders from Grommash

  • Await orders from Grommash.

Return to the Warchief

  • Return to Warchief Hellscream at Beastwatch.

Hall of the Brave

There are plenty of grunts, training dummies and other mobs in the hall. The top floor has two Battlemasters and an Experience Eliminator. Here are some screenshots of the zone.

Mag'har Orcs will be the first Horde Allied Race in Battle for Azeroth. In order to unlock them, you must complete Horde's War Campaign (Ready for WarReady for War) that gradually unlocks by increasing reputation with the Honorbound faction.

Not much, but it's the same as with Dark Irons, reusing existing location and adding npcs to it. Interesting how this scenario is going to turn out, if events from it will have any meaning later (lightbound draenei and orcs coming from alternate Draenor to our Azeroth after mag'har?).

The light has always been questionable. It was like the entire point with "The light sees one path, and refuses to accept any other"

The core concept is that morality is subjective.

With the conflict of light and void becoming the major topic (apart from the faction war) I actually like what they‘re doing.
The light is good is just way too boring.

No, the light has not always been questionable, whatsoever. The light has always been objectively good. It doesn't corrupt and it doesn't take control or try to tempt you with power. It heals wounds and cleanses sickness and just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

What we see right now is Blizzard trying to jump on the current trend of "morally grey" storytelling and in the process uprooting, retconning and twisting the established narrative and failing spectacularly because the actual talent of the writing department who cares about the universe they created has left. 

The story portion of World of Warcraft reminds me of one of those longrunning TV shows, begging for a mercy but keeps raking in the views so the showrunners keep it going even though is should've been laid to rest 5 seasons ago. Not saying that the game itself is bad, but the actual story is horrendously bad and the Warcraft universe has been hammered and mangled into an unrecognizable shape, a shadow of it's former self.

The Warcraft universe was the first fantasy universe i got heavily invested in and it does make me sad to see where it's at today and even sadder to see the direction in which it is headed. I'll definitely keep playing the game but the story has lost me, i can only take so much fanfiction-tier writing before i snap. Just now waiting to see them dig up the corpse of Uther and ruin his story as well and i assume Arthas is next in line.

That's another thing i have to mention, the warcraft writers of today just can't seem to be able to come up with anything new or interesting that makes sense, they just need to keep recycling the past. The story of Uther is an example of a great character with a good story with a beginning and an end(and a good story needs a beginning and an end) and i'm gonna be real peeved if they decide to go back and dig him up. Once you start ressurecting dead characters left and right death loses it's meaning and impact and it really compromises the entire integrity of the universe.

I'm quite certain the cinematic with illidan and his 'manufactured destiny' was one of the single greatest pieces written for this game, IMO.  

The entire void/light "dichotomy" with Alleria explained it all, and honestly it makes perfect sense.  Illidan was on the one true path, according to Xe'ra, and she was going to make sure he stayed on it, no matter what.

Honestly a little disappointed with this myself. I’ve never been a fan of the design style of Orgrimmar. All the spikes and ugly buildings never were my thing. If they had to put them in an existing city, I think Thunder Bluff would have been a better option. Caters more to the shamanistic lifestyle of the Mag’har.

Everyone is evil in blizz's eye. Every faction gets to be good for awhile then bad. This is how the void will become dominant so the heroes will have to fight it off.

This would have merit if undead was never a thing to start with. But it's been that way since Warcraft 3. Perhaps it's time you got caught up with the story.

If you think you can do a better job, then apply as a story writer to Blizzard. It's Blizzard's story to tell. I am so sick and tired of so-called fans whining that they don't like the direction of the story. Get over it. If you truly don't like it, then stop following altogether (which means stop playing the actual game). But I guess it's difficult for you to be open-minded about the direction of the story and only like black/white storytelling (which is generally boring and is incredibly predictable).

What I've been witnessing is that the Shadow/Void energies are becoming somewhat of a weapon against foes, which can be useful as Alleria states (with whom I agree Xd), but then... also the whole Light's symbolism is turning out as a morally doubtful matter, with which I categorically disagree xd

I've always see Blizz' lore as one of a clearly defined boundaries between good and evil, now it seems like those lines are somehow fading out :c Anyway!!! May be some hidden Old Gods insinuation?:3!! and at the end of the xpack we would see this reestablished. . . who knows ?

XD I like these debates ^_^! So funny , immersive and interesting :)

      Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
      We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
      Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

      Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
      The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
      The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

      All Percentiles
      As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
      U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
      Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.

      For the next two weeks, the Archaeology quest for Spirit of Eche'ro is available on live servers, so don't forget to get the rare mount before it's gone for 6 months!
      How to Get the Spirit of Eche'ro Mount
      1. Download MapCoords or some other add-os that displays coordinates in the game.
      2. Teleport to Azsuna from the Stormwind/Orgrimmar Portal Room or use your Dalaran Hearthstone to reach Dalaran (Legion) if you have one in your inventory.
      3. Seek out Archaeology Trainer Dariness the Learned in Dalaran at 41,26 and learn Archaeology if you already haven't.
      4. Accept The Right Path quest from the Archaeology Trainer and make your way to Thunder Totem in Highmountain.
      5. Talk to Lessah Moonwater to accept Laying to Rest. For the quest, you must collect 600 Bone Fragments of Eche'ro by rotating between four digsites in Highmountain. The exact locations with coords are outlined below.
      Digsite 1: Darkfeather Valley (50, 44) Digsite 2: Dragon's Falls (58, 72) Digsite 3: Path of Huin (44, 72) Digsite 4: Whitewater Wash (39, 65) it takes roughly around 2 hours to get the mount.
      Spirit of Eche'ro
      "The spirit of Huln Highmountain's pet moose."

      Hurry up! You only have until August 21, 2024, to get the mount!

      MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
      With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

      We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
      When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
      MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
