koolade74 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 I was just doing the quest "Through a glass, darkly" when my voidlord pet suddenly got frozen (in the area of Nexus where the first 5-man boss is located) and now it is constantly frozen no matter where I am in game. Whenever and wherever I summon the pet, it instantly freezes. It only affects my voidlord and no other pet, but nothing I try fixes this very irritating bug. I've tried relogging/restarting the game, abandoning the quest, changing the pet's name at the demon trainer (and thereby getting a new one), trying to killl it in pvp (but it's untargetable). I've made a ticket but the estimated waiting time is 5 days! Not having my tanking buddy for that long will drive me crazy, so I'm hoping someone here might have experience with this bug and know a solution. Thanks in advance for any help. Omaric 246 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 Have you tried using a different Grimoire to summon the different type of Voidlord until they're able to fix it for you? Changing the type via Grimoires might even remedy the situation.
koolade74 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 Deleting the Cache folder didn't work. Changed grimoire to service and the voidwalker is okay. Changed back and the voidlord froze again after being summoned...but at least I can use the voidwalker. Thanks for the advice :-)
Kazistrasz 216 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 changing the pet's name at the demon trainer (and thereby getting a new one) This is a thing? If cache folder and Gimoire don't fix it, all I can say is try dueling someone and having them kill your pet.
koolade74 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 As I mentioned in my first mail, pet is untargetable and couldn't be killed in duels :-(

Daemaia 1 Report post Posted November 22, 2013 It won't work. None of the above. Tried them all like 1 or 1,5 years ago. Open a ticket and a GM will fix it for you. Had totally the same problem that time.
Zagam 1,982 Report post Posted November 22, 2013 This is the legendary chain, right? Geez I'm old. Those new pets likely weren't programmed in there. If nothing else works, take him into LFR MSV on Spirit Kings with a friend. Have your friend kill it when it becomes hostile. I know this can be done because I killed Locky's Doomguard last night on our mount run. He was displeased.

I had the same problem in Cataclysm with my felpup, so any pet can become an Ice Block in that quest. The fastest way to fix it is getting into an arena. Silverman 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) While you are waiting for the GM, you can also try this: 1. Summon your voidlord 2. Change your talent to from GoSup to GoSac, while VL is still summoned (if you change the talent with a summoned "tier 2"-pet, its still there for a while, so you can sacrifice the advanced petversion) 3. Sacrifice your voidlord Edited November 22, 2013 by Silverman
