Heroes of the Storm: High Inquisitor Whitemane Hero Reveal

There's really quite a bit of opportunity go do something interesting with Whitemane's kit.

-As mentioned, summon Herod/Mograine as a heroic.  

-Sally basically couldn't die until Lilian Voss stabbed her with the blades of the anointed.  Would be cool if her trait allows her to rez on the battlefield where she dies, or if they work that into her kit somehow.

I am shocked that a nobody is commenting on a fairly well known character in WoW. Also, what hearthstone hero? All Hearthstone heroes originate from Warcraft, so....

There is an array of characters left unclaimed in Starcraft see here. I mean we haven't even had a Xel'naga addition from Starcraft...(I get it they are probably massive but we do have a Firelord, whose size has changed significantly depending on space). There are Overwatch characters that can still be added....and Blizzard could totally add Kyle "Blackthorne" Vlaros to be an addition to their Blizzard Classic set with the Lost Vikings (which I have been totally wishing for since they brought back the Lost Vikings).

Let us also not forget, Blizzard has a lot of characters in the Diablo universe, with 3 titles and probably a 4th on the way....there are many named "demons" or class additions that could be added..I mean we have Diablo / Azmodan, 2 of the 5 prime arch demons and then we have Tyrael, Auriel and Fallen Angel Maltheal but what about Izual? Baal? Imperious? Mephisto? those are pretty iconic bosses/characters from the games...they could even make a Diablo Druid...which would be pretty sweet as like hybrid caster/melee dps ...I don't know, I generally don't care but it would be nice to see more characters from the other universes...

All universes get their turn. Just be patient.

Fenix was a hero unit, therefore, not generic. Blaze, I will agree with you there, since there was no true Firebat hero character. As for your Deckard comment, that is simply not true because Deckard was very much in Diablo 1.

Dev team likes them,many people also..(except some that I see right now..) that was reason they added them in MOP again and reworked their dungeons and also continued their storyline and now whitemane is coming to nexus...

Hey @Myke, just a hint. You could actually use the multi-quote option next time (it's the + symbol next to the "Quote" button), that way you make multiple quotes in the same post instead of multi-posting. ;D

Not quite. If we're using real life analogies from the tech industry and Bill Gates is someone important then the scarlet crusade is someone who made one particular version of linux, not linux as a whole but one specific, not particularly popular version of it. They accomplish very little. I put them as comparable to Imperius in the diablo universe they do a bit of stuff but are most noted for losing badly. Everything I read about them is basically them getting booted out of wherever they happen to be.

Because some characters or minor factions aren't particularly important or noteworthy or worth digging into. There's just not much there they don't do much of anything. I find it bizarre that

Cool that you need to resort to personal insults but to answer your question anyways. Anduin. They all originate from warcraft and all but him are in the game now as they are prominent examples of their class. Whitemane is so well known that if you had any sense at all you skipped her dungeon because leveling dungeons even in vanilla were a waste of time if you had to go out of your way to get there. Waste time grinding a dungeon half a continent away from actual content or spend more time in a zone that can carry you from 28 to 40?

Just saw some interesting fact. Whitemane was more kinda Scarlet Crusade memeber, but guys in back got Scarlet Onslaught tabards, just noticed that little difference.

Look I get people like her for whatever reason and some people even bizzarely left STV to go grind that dungeon for reasons I don't get but whatever. There are much more notable and story involved priests that aren't in this game so to go to a leveling dungeon boss is a strange choice at best. The way WoW works is if you're a villain and not a raid boss you're generally not particularly important and sexy cosplay outfits and rule 34 don't make up for that.

I hope her kit is good and that she's fun to play. I'm gonna pick her up regardless (and it's usually the characters I'm least interested in that seem to do well) but I wish they went with one of the more important priest characters in the story to represent them.

EPL is a odd choice to go with but it's actually super relevant to the bigger overarching stories since it is both a place with considerable history dating back to WC3 and was the location of Naxxramas for quite a while. The scarlet crusade are around but they don't do much and while some people had their memorable moments there's so many bigger, more important characters, especially from warcraft, not in the game. I played a warlock in vanilla and had a great time doing the quest chain to get my dreadsteed, hands down one of the most memorable moments in the game and I did it after BC came out instead of buying a regular epic mount, but I am not going to pretend Lord Hel'nurath should be the first dreadlord in the nexus over Mal'ganis or Tichondrius despite him having a small role in the legion story.

 

Well, I only really did it with my main character.  Since doing all quests in a zone is also tied to achievements now, it's an added bonus.  With my alts though, I also just sped them through the leveling process. XD (❤️ heirlooms)

I also like to read, so I guess reading all the text doesn't bother me.  Besides, you really only have to read it once, it's not THAT much of time spent.

Also, you have to remember there are way more casual players who like to do quests and dungeons, but not raids.  Just because someone likes to play the game differently, doesn't mean they are wasting their own time.

Last note, if you play Horde, It's pretty easy to get to the Scarlet Monastery.  :P

Bill Roper isn't with Blizzard (had not been for like 15 years or more), plus he is not active as professional voice actor, only as game developer on few titles. I think new actor did a good job (same voice as Talandar, Fenix's clone), compared to that, Fenix's old voice sounds rather amateurish now.

I used to grind it for Herod's Shoulder, which was best in slot for hunters/shamans in lvl29 twink PvP bracket.

Marc Grue's performance is fantastic: you have that strong and heroic vibe in every line that perfectly fits Fenix's stoic personality.

People complained a lot about Sylvanas new voice actress in WoW, but in my opinion her current voice by Patty Mattson is perfect.

Yes, Marc Graue's performance is certainly on a high level, plus he also voiced highmountain Tauren npcs in Broken Isles in WoW ? Now that I check, looks like Bill Roper has left Disney Interactive rather long time ago and is now with Improbable, helping developing some type of software or game engine (not sure) for making MMOs. As for Sylvanas, I've got used to her voice and I think it fits her very well, not a big fan of a character though.

You really don't get it? Given that I am not advocating for me to be in the game in place of her nor does critiquing their choice of characters require any special qualification so who I am doesn't matter so all you were doing is insulting me. Her being IMO a nobody is relevant to my argument because she is in the game that is the equivalent of a blizzard all stars game so her lack of importance is a valid talking point. I was making a relevant point whereas you were being petty because I said something you disagreed with.

You didn't "use my own stuff against me" you used similar words I used when critiquing the inclusion of a character in a video game to insult me as part of an ad hominem argument. It's so rare to see someone so clueless as to not get why insulting the person you disagree with is not a valid argument.
