Paladin2013 5 Report post Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Hey guys, I'd like to share you with the trivia about something you may not know in Hearthstone, hoping they can help you to learn this game better. You can also click here to read the texts with pictures. The Battlecry of Crazed Alchemist can destroy any minion with 0 ATK, such as the Doomsayer, Lightwell. Can the Divine Shield immune the spells like Rogue’s Assassinate, and Hunter’s Deadly Shot? – No. Can the Divine Shield immune the destroy effect of some minions, such as the Emperor Cobra and Patient Assassin? – Yes. If the Angry Chicken is not buffed, can the Enrage effect be triggered after using the Commanding Shout? – No. Enrage is triggered when the minion damaged below max health, but not just take damage. The Enrage effect can’t stack, but the effect of Gurubashi Berserker can stack the ATK when take damage, which is not Enrage effect. If Paladin's minion with Wisdom Blessing effect is controlled by Priest’s Mind Control or Mind Madness, when it attacks, it still draw card for Paladin instead of the Priest. Can the minion summoned by Noble Sacrifice be buffed with +1/+1 when the hero equipping with Sword of Justice ? – Yes. When the Mage’s secret card – Counterspell is waiting for triggering, and then Hunter use the Flare, what’s the result? – The Counterspell will be triggered first, and the Flare is invalid. Assume the enemy hero’s HP is 7, and you use the Alexstrasza to set its HP to 15, which means the Alexstrasza restores 8 HP for the enemy hero. But when the Auchenai Soulpriest is on board, the Alexstrasza will deal 8 damage to it, instead of restoring 8 HP. Explosive Trap – This secret can only be triggered when the Hunter attacked by the enemy hero or minions. It can’t be triggered when take damage from the hero power or Battlecry of some minions, such as the Fire Elemental and Elven Archer. Snipe – Can it be triggered when an enemy minion summoned by spell card or Hero Power (Paladin and Shaman)? – No. Snipe – If the opponent play a minion with Battlecry, which one is triggered first, Battlecry or secret? – Battlecry. Freezing – The frozen minion can't attack at the current turn, but it can be unfrozen if you silence it. The effect of the frozen minion is still valid. The effect of Shaman’s Earth Shock is: Silence the target first and then deal 1 damage to it. So you can use to kill the Twilight Drake and Scarlet Crusader directly. If there are only the Sylvanas Windrunner and Cairne Bloodhoof on board, and they perish together, than the summoned Bairne Bloodhoof won’t be controlled by the Sylvanas Windrunner. Likewise, the summoned minions of Savannah Highmane and Havest Golem won't be controlled as well. If you collect all the murloc cards /golden cards, you'll be awarded with a legendary murloc minion -- Old Murk-Eye /golden, which is soulbound and cannot be crafted or disenchanted, and you can't get it from the packs. If you collect all the Pirate cards /golden cards, you'll be awarded with the Captain's Parrot /golden, which is soulbound and cannot be crafted or disenchanted, and you can't get them from the packs. The Faerie Dragon can't be targeted by the hero power and spells. Then can the Deadly Shot destroy it? -- Yes. It can be randomly selected, so the Arcane Missiles might hit it or even kill it as well. Edited November 29, 2013 by Paladin2013

Omaric 246 Report post Posted December 2, 2013 I wouldn't say this is trivia, it's all very useful. Thanks for the write up! The Faerie Dragon can't be targeted by the hero power and spells. Then can the Deadly Shot destroy it? -- Yes. It can be randomly selected, so the Arcane Missiles might hit it or even kill it as well. Confirmed on Arcane Missiles, I've definitely done that a handful of times. They can also be targeted by the SI:7 Agent or any other card that has a Battlecry with targeted damage, due to the fact that they aren't considered spells. Krazyito 521 Report post Posted December 5, 2013 Might also want to add that Stealth taunt units are still Stealth and the opposing player is not forced to attack it (or rather not even able to attack it)
