Fubbler 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2018 Hello there, So I am starting to level up my alt hunter and planning to focus on m+. Can anyone share which pet family appears to be the most suitable for mythics? Cheers, Fubbler
jinsu2301 273 Report post Posted September 7, 2018 Spirit Beast for better survivability and Spirit Shock, Bat or Nether Ray if your group is missing Bloodlust (once you have the lust debuff, it's worth switching back to Spirit Beast)

Duxi 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2018 (edited) For most encounters:Nether Ray for Purge, Leech and Lust. When you need extra survivability for a certain bossmechanic:Spirit Beast for Purge, +HP, Defensive Cooldown a quite weak heal (~4% of MaxHP). In the rare circumstance that you have to run from the start of the instance: Any Tenacity pet Edited September 7, 2018 by Duxi

Also tooltip is buggy, actual healing is about 70k per use with my 348ilvl.
Fubbler 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2018 Thank you all for your replies. As I am totally new to playing with pet let me also ask you a question: what about level of a pet? Does is matter what level is pet, whether it scales or not, etc? Most of the spirit beasts mentioned on petopia are considered to only scale up to level 110. How does it actually work? Pets will always be the same level as you, they probably just forgot to update that bit. Pets don't level up independently like they used to in vanilla. The moment you tame a pet it levels up to match yours. All of them, with no exceptions. Edited September 12, 2018 by Khallid

Yeah, everytime I ran a TW dungeon, my pet re-leveled when I left TW. You'd think Blizzard would put that on ignore.
