You say it should be mage armor, why is my simcraft saying I do more dps with frost armor? I tried it out ingame by using both armors. Oltier 471 Report post Posted December 7, 2013 Because, without frost armor, the breakpoint of Living Bomb is 13163 haste, that you cannot reach with this gear. However, when you use the frost armor you exceed one extra breakpoint, thus your LB will tick for one extra damage. However, using frost armor reduces the damage of all other spells and theoritically you will do lower DPS. Why simcraft states differently? Because Simcraft counts as you were on the most ideal fight and you are a professional person who always use his/her CDs at the right milisecond, etc. If you tried it by yourself in game, you can see which one was better and I'd love if you could share your experience.
