Ajjen 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) We have a nice group of raiders and everyone seems do be doing right. Lately our feral druid complained about his dps, which is not on par with his gear and itemlevel. I'm linking the log from our 3 hc kills last time (and some normals), so please look and see if we can help him increase his dps. http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/172162/ Edited December 11, 2013 by Ajjen
Tarazet 144 Report post Posted December 11, 2013 Savage Roar uptime is the key problem I'm seeing. Any time that it's down, you're missing out on a 40% buff to all cat abilities. On Sha of Pride, the uptime was less than 70%, which means he spent over a minute with reduced damage because he didn't manage his combo points properly. I like using the Cat's Eye add-on, which has a very clear graphic showing you when Savage Roar, Rip, Rake, Thrash, and Weakened Armor are going to fall off, as well as the Tiger's Fury cooldown, as well as your combo points. Though he shouldn't need to worry about using FF with the Warrior tanking. His gearing seems to be mostly proper, though the hat isn't reforged and the gem in the weapon should be an orange one. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/twisting-nether/Neome/advanced
Omnae 8 Report post Posted December 12, 2013 Agree with Tarazet, Savage roar uptime is terrible some fights its 20% others its 70%, he even has the glyph so SR doesn't need combo points so there's no reason for it to not be closer to 90%+. Also thrash should be on the list more often, most clearcasting procs should be used on thrash. And armory shows he has the Force of Nature talent, but it was never used in the lasted logs, if he actually had that talent for all those fights that is a guaranteed loss of about 5-10% free dmg that was wasted by taking that talent and not using it. So he either needs to use soul of the forest or actually use his selected talent.
Paloro 39 Report post Posted December 16, 2013 As Omnae stated, not using FoN is just a waste of a talent spot. You can see this in WoL by selecting the character and then looking in the buffs gained tab. If he had been using Soul of the Forest, you would see the energy gains from it in the "power gains" column.
