Im so dissapointed, lets hope they still have something in the back they dont show us now.

I think after backlash against Diablo Immortal they will just shut down the entire Diablo division because "Screw it! And all of you too"

I don't get why so much upset / sad reactions everywhere. It seems something went missed by everyone: "partnered with Netease" so D Imortal was not made in house at Blizzard. Yet they still hired tons of heads in the head quarter!

Having this in mind D 2.5 sound like a side project and the big one will be heard of next year(or later)!

That also mean that the Diablo Franchise is super active: D3 switch, D Imortal, Something else!

Edit: blizzard seem to be announcing their games 1 year in advance max now so will see next year!

D3 on switch is just a dead game on a new platform. Already here you could see that they were giving up.
Now launching 2.5 as a mobile platform proves it.

So disappointed.

Oh man, that silence when they announced it and like/dislike ratio on trailer. It appears to be made mainly for Chinese market, judging by their partner company (Netease, a mobile game developer studio from China).

That does not make an exuse for showing the audience that they do not even care to pronunce their own flippin' character's names correctly and also that their hyped grand Diablo announcement this year was just a goddamn mobile game. Not even a slight hint towards D2 remaster, D3 DLC or literally ANYTHING ELSE.

So you talked to the head of Diablo development to confirm this? Or is this just your own bias because you're upset that you let your own hype disappoint you?

This indeed is a fair point.

While the PR they did back in Aug made a mess and while I think their could have done the opening better. all of this sound like they know more but can't tell creating a disconnect with the community.

Well anyway twill not stop me playing the next D3 season

I already see how it goes from now on. "Diablo division is not making any money? Check. Fans are pissed beyond any limit? Check. Fans are not throwing money at us because they are pissed at Diablo Division? DOUBLE CHECKED. TRASH IT!"

So you are making your own biased assumptions, even though PR has stated otherwise. Good to know,

Aren't you forgetting that Activision is running the Blizzard now? And that if they see that something (Which is literally ANYTHING) is not giving them any kind of profit they will shut it down without a second thought? And Diablo division is literally running on a thin ice with the anvil in their flippin' arms. If they don't make up for their fiasco at this year's Blizzcon they are gone.

Right, like Blizzard is going to throw away Diablo 4, which will most likely be announced next year. Quit claiming the sky is falling when it isn't. Activision has no say in what departments are going to go for Blizzard. If Activision did, the Classics division would of been gone. But since it isn't, my point stands. Stop whining because your own hype lead you to disappointment.

So it's MY fault that i've waited 6 years for a new diablo game and not a cheap mobile cash-grab? Yeah right i am such an idiot i shoudn't know what I want - Blizzard can literally TELL ME what i want and give it to me. SILLY ME!
For real though you should stop your bootlicking right now. You are embarassing yourself.

I think you are missing the key point, that the original Diablo games were never made by the Blizzard you know. Diablo 1 & 2 were produced by a company called Blizzard North, which essentially dissolved around 2005, and then the mother company ended up owning the rights to Diablo franchise without any of the people who worked on it. I think this showed in Diablo 3 and it will show in every new things they will develop. Or they will sell the rights to instead of developing it themselves like in this case.
Still I think it's totally rightful for fans to throw rude words at Blizz in this case for selling the rights to the Chinese, but from a business standpoint it's an absolutely legitimate decision. Netease probably pays a shitload of money for the Diablo name.

Yes, it's your fault that you let your own hype disappoint you when you know good games take time to make.

They've had that time. And they know it. And they've completely wasted it on this abomination.

And yet you still seemingly ignore the fact that they said there are projects they are not ready to announce yet. But go on, keep being ignorant of the facts and keep making your own assumptions based from nothing.

This is just so sad. This announce like a funeral of one big part of my childhood (D1-2). I allways loved everything about Diablo and was a huge fan of the world, but they now destroyed my all dreams about the sequel of this franchise. Feels like end of the franchise for me.

I can't say I'm not surprised. After many years of disappointing reveals and news, I have to say this is the saddest reveal of them all. From a business perspective it's a great idea, but to the fans who literally played Diablo 3 for years it's the same shit but different format. No way I'm playing Diablo 3 on mobile, I'm already burned out on the PC version.

R.I.P Diablo franchise. You were fun before you were beat to death by multiple imports.

A brand new season arrives in Diablo 3 next month! Blizzard have the full preview ready so let's take a look at the cosmetic rewards, season journey, Haedrig's Gift sets, and more!
      Season 33 (Source)
Sanctuary needs you to answer its call for aid in Season 33: Shades of the Nephalem. Starting on October 25 at 5 p.m. PDT/CET/KST, Nephalem can harness the power of the Shades of the Nephalem theme, which first debuted with Season 22. For an in-depth look at what’s coming, take a gander below. Also, Season 32 will officially come to an end on October 20. Seasonal Journey
      Season Theme
      Season Cosmetic Rewards
      Season Journey Rewards
      Seasonal Conquest
      Haedrig’s Gift
      Patch 2.7.8
      Season Theme
The shadows, they are moving, and they seem… animated. Like they have a will of their own. Whatever this trickery is, perhaps you can use it to your advantage. Let’s see what the demons say when you fight side by side with your own shadow! Shadows of the Past: Activating a Shrine/Pylon will spawn in a shadow clone of your class, who will come with a randomly chosen 1 of 3 predetermined builds. This clone's power will scale with your character and will last for 1 minute (unless your character dies). See this article for the shadow clone variations that can spawn when activating. Kanai’s Cube: Kanai’s Cube will have a fourth slot this season. This fourth slot will have the choices of the first 3 slots but will not stack with any of them, providing additional flexibility to your build. Return to Top Season Cosmetic Rewards
Beginning with Season 17, we began re-introducing previous Seasonal rewards to make them available to any who may have missed them the first time around. For Season 33, this means awards originally available from Season 9 are returning to the Season Journey. However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve already participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth in the Trial of Tempests to earn the Stupendous Contraption pet and the Industrial Portrait Frame.
In addition to the Chest and Gloves slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, you’ll be able to earn the Pandemonium portraits, and the cute and craggily Rocky pet first introduced in Season 9. Return to Top Season Journey Rewards
If you’ve been diligently slaying demons before and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, you’ve surely accrued a few extra stash tabs. You’ll earn one additional tab each Season by finishing the Conqueror tier, up to a maximum of five: Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a Level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within five minutes. Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55. All I Do is Win: Complete 2 Conquests this Season. Life Goes On: Kill Maghda at Level 70 in under fifteen seconds on Torment XIII difficulty. Money Ain’t a Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty. Treasure Goblins outside of Nephalem Rifts will sometimes open portals to Greed’s domain, The Vault. Take U There: Reach Greater Rift Level 60 Solo. Greater Rift keystones can be obtained from any Nephalem Rift guardian. Power Amplification: Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a Level 50+ gem. Cubic Reconfiguration: Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item. Return to Top Seasonal Conquest
Want to prepare your Conquest plan for Season 33? Here are the challenges you’ll face: For Curses!/Stars Align, pick any Cursed Chest event that requires killing monsters and defeat over 350 or more at level 70 on Torment X or higher. Also returning for Season 33 is Sprinter/Speed Racer, where you’re challenged to complete the entire Diablo III campaign from Act I to Act V at Level 70 in under an hour! Next is Avarice/Avaritia, where all that glitters is gold—that is, if you can complete a 50 million Gold streak outside of The Vault or its Inner Sanctum. We're also bringing Thrill/Superhuman, which requires completion of a Greater Rift Level 45—solo and without any Set items equipped. And lastly we'll be bringing back Speed Demon/Need for Speed, meaning you'll need to beat a Torment X Nephalem Rift at Level 70 in 2 minutes. Best of luck! Return to Top Haedrig’s Gift
Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works: Completing Acts II, III, and IV of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. Each Gift contains a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely! The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 33: Barbarian - Might of the Earth Crusader - Thorns of the Invoker Demon Hunter - The Shadow's Mantle Monk - Monkey King's Garb Witch Doctor - Raiment of the Jade Harvester Wizard - Firebird's Finery Necromancer - Grace of Inarius Return to Top Patch 2.7.8
Our next patch goes live on October 22 and introduces quality-of-life updates for demon slayers on Mac. New Mac Executables/Mac Native Silicon and Intel: These updates will allow Diablo III to run on new versions of the macOS. PC Experience Stability: This PTR is open to both Mac and PC players. While the focal point of the 2.7.8 PTR is to test technical updates for Mac, we want PC users to monitor their playing experience as well. If you experience any stability issues or difficulties in connecting with Mac players, please give us that feedback. Return to Top

Season 32 of Diablo 3, Ethereal Memory, will go live later today, and we have prepared a list of various useful and updated guides to help you get started!
The Season of Ethereal Memory will start later today at 5 p.m. PDT (NA Servers), 5 p.m. CEST (EU Servers), and 5 p.m. KST (Asian Servers). The theme of Season 32 was first introduced with Season 24 and is now back for another round!
      What are Ethereal Memories?
The theme of the season reintroduces the Ethereals, which are rare and powerful items known from Diablo II and reimagined for Diablo III. You will be able to hunt for all 21 iconic weapons of Diablo 2 during the season, but this time they will be harder to find and will only drop in Ancient or Primal rarity!

To help you with the start of this new season, our team has been busy updating all of our Diablo 3 guides to reflect all the changes ahead of the season launch.
