At least for Azerite traits as there are new ones that has replaced old ones. Such as Filthy Transfusion and Helchains for the Nazman Warplate Chestplate gear. These were included in the update and are present in the guide, so I'm not sure why the changelog says this. I'll swap over the changelog, but the actual rankings of the new traits is present.
