Funq 4 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Hi all, A quick question. I was lucky enough to get two drops from Ordos, namely Chestguard of Pyrrhic Immolation and Olivia's Graceful Gaze I currently use the 4pc set, which is a mix of normal, flex and LFR. I can replace my head (LFR) and chest (flex) with the warforged Ordos items. It'll be a significant ilvl upgrade, but obviously I'll lose my 4pc bonus. Is it worth it for me to use the warforged items anyway? billtfor3 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Try them out on a training dummy and see what your dps looks like, between the two.
Stoove 347 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 I'd say that the 4-pc set is awesome (and I know it is, I use it all the time) but only when you remember to use it. Since you get a big ilvl upgrade from re-equipping, then do it. Once you get the chance to take the Normal or Heroic tier pieces, I suggest downgrading to tier just so you get the 4-set, then learning to use it often. If you get a choice between the chest and the head for your Normal peice, take the head as it has Haste. Try them out on a training dummy and see what your dps looks like, between the two. Well that's not entirely constructive, since this is a question for healers.
Healmobile 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 Yeah I would also break the set. 4 piece is nice but since a large part of your healing doesn't benefit from it (healing rain + totems) it's not worth that much of an itemlevel difference. They have pretty good stats too, no mastery!

The 4-pc bonus is genuinely good :)
Funq 4 Report post Posted January 6, 2014 So I broke up the 4pc set, got my legendary meta (gogo runestone grind) en regemmed. I have a follow-up question now. I regemmed/reforged into haste now that I have my LMG and I sit at 30% haste without a raidbuff. Since the spell haste buff is not guaranteed in our raid setup, I wonder if it is worth it to stick to 30% unbuffed and run the "risk" of having 35% raidbuffed, or regem/-forge to 25%? On a side note, I do miss the 4pc bonus...
Stoove 347 Report post Posted January 6, 2014 If it's not guaranteed, I prefer to stay at 30% unbuffed. You can try it the other way, but since Haste is a good throughput stat anyway it shouldn't deter you :)
