Demo Spec, lock tanking, provocation problem.

I realise lock tanking is a little silly, but can be fun. I've done it many times in the past, especially in Lfr while waiting on tanks...

 

Anyway... I was in an Lfr recently, testing something out, and we were missing a tank. Instead of waiting 10 minutes or more for a tank. So I offered to demo tank to an uproar of disapproval. It was Galakras and the tanking was fine, until the boss dropped and I realised the taunt no longer worked. I'm quite positive it has worked fine in the past, as I mentioned, I've tanked a load of things.

 

It just seemed to be immune to my taunt. So, has it bugged out, have they patched it? Or has it never worked and I just haven't noticed? Anyone else experienced this?

Ignore this. I'm sure it works more like a pet taunt and probably never worked like a real taunt. I suppose I never noticed.

It just doesn't work on bosses unfortunately.  It works like an actual taunt for anything else.  You're right though, it can definitely be fun.
