Just won my first arena match after choosing class and drafting cards according to your guide, I'm new to the game and in the only two other runs I ever had in arena I collected a rather disappointing 0-3 0-3.

Glad we could be of help. As you will soon realize, the card ratings are just a tool and everything it says should be taken with a pinch of salt. Typically, it is great to choose your first 15 cards using the spreadsheet. Then, you need to start considering the cards that you have already chosen (like if you have 2 Pyroblasts already, you probably don't need another one, even if the spreadsheet says it's the best card). The problem is that the possibilities then become endless, so we can't really make a guide about it.

I think cards that help your card advantage such as Duplicate and Arcane Intellect should be in the highest tier possible, because in arena it is all about card draw, aoe, and power of minions.

This list is really good at showing how strong aoe cards are and the stregnth of minions, but it under rates card draw cards. Whenever I see an Arcane Intellect or Duplicate during the draft phase, I take it over all cards except aoe's like flamestrike and blizzard.

Here is the Mage deck that brought me to 12 wins. I could have done it NP at all 12-1 and a good chance at 12-0 BUT I was angry at my 1st loss do to a misplay that I played angry the 2nd game and made an even bigger one.

 

I won 5 games in a row then lost 2 then won the remaining 7 in a row.

EDIT: I just realized It is not showing all my cards lol. Sry. At least you can see what I picked up to 5 mana cost lol.

I give up on Arena. I have never gotten better than 3/3 and I've been following the guides on this site, did 2 mage, 2 druid and a priest and the best I got out of those was 2/3 (most were 0/3). I just think I must be a failure at Arena.
