You don't start getting points until level 10, but when I put the slider to level 13, it showed that I should have more points than what I should have. Thanks for the great info though!! I just reviewed it and it is correct. The text below is mean to tell you where to allocate new points. So, although image says that you will eventually have 5/5 Arcane Concentration while text tells you to put 4 points into it, it is because you already had 1 point into it from the previous image / point guide, so you only need to put 4 additional points into it from level 50 to 53. On the explanation text below this I sometimes mention that a talent will allow you to unlock or have synergy with an upcoming talent, but I don't tell you to get it as you cannot yet, so hopefully this clears it out! ? It's confusing because at lower levels (10-20) i am seeing the image with ice block and 5/5 improved frostbolt but no mention of when to allocate those (until i checked lvl 30). Guest Old Dog Report post Posted September 2, 2019 Ok, I just checked the warrior leveling guide and it works how I think it should. The single target frost mage is incorrect. At 19 it shows Mage 0/0/11, required level 20, points left 40 then has 4 points in improved frostbolt, 3 in elemental precision, 3 in frostbite, and shows 1 in cold snap. ??? wtf ??? Idea is to increase hit chance with talents by 4% ASAP as that has the most effect on your DPS against similar level enemies. Get Wand Spec ASAP to help with early leveling, you Arcane Missiles until enemy is close and then finish him off with Wand or Arcane Explosion (also taking imp arcane explosion ASAP to help with dungeon / general aoe). Scale up the Arcane tree until Arcane Power, then go Frost, which will allow you to end up with great dungeon / raid talents as seen in the first build of our Mage PvE guide: https://www.icy-veins.com/wow-classic/mage-dps-pve-spec-builds-talents, no need to respec.
