firadesunna 1 Report post Posted August 11, 2019 (edited) In the Enhancement section you recommend getting https://classic.wowhead.com/item=2491/large-axe, however, Enhancement Shamans do not get 2h axes until Level 20 using a talent - thus, is it even worth mentioning that Weapon? https://classic.wowhead.com/item=2025/bearded-axe or https://classic.wowhead.com/item=926/battle-axe would be a much better choice for a level 20 if they had to pick up a white vendor item - and if they couldnt afford either of these, sticking with a 1h weapon until any 2h weapon drops would be a better option Also: 3.4. Enhancement Shaman Leveling Weapons Your weapon, as an Enhancement Shaman, is by far the most impactful piece of your gear while leveling, and as such, looking for weapon upgrades is the main thing to be concerned by. Keep in mind that, in WoW Classic, each race has different weapon skills learned when they are created, and you will have to learn the rest (that your class is eligible to learn) from the following Weapon Masters around the world: should be re-written to include the information regarding the 2h weapon talent on Shamans instead of purchasing the skill like other classes Edited August 11, 2019 by firadesunna

Guest Sty Report post Posted August 13, 2019 Its nice to know, but classic shamans wont need any alliance level guide or weapon teachers in alliance cities as mentionend in the Guide.

Guest BullzOfSteel Report post Posted August 30, 2019 In the guide for enhancement shaman leveling, you show to put 5 points in shield spec. But you never explain when you should use a shield while leveling.. When would you want to use a shield over a 2-hander?
Seksi 208 Report post Posted August 30, 2019 When tanking in dungeons (enha is a really strong tank early on!) and when you pull more mobs than you expected and thus need to play more defensively to survive. 2h kills faster but not fast enough to compensate for the lack of a shield when facing multiple enemies, you are usually better off swapping to a shield. I will be editing the guide today to explain this talent and the rest as you adjust the slider, thanks for the comment! ?
Guest Jizzleslizzurp Report post Posted September 15, 2020 I would argue that imp ghost wolf is above and beyond worth picking up while leveling. Movement speed is extremely valuable, and it's a serious bump in cast speed. 1% dodge and literally a few measely points of Lightning Shield damage - literally like...2 damage?? - pales in comparison to hauling quality *filtered* to the next destination. JFC who is writing these things...

JFC who is writing these things... You can still cast ghost wolf perfectly well while leveling, it just has a slightly longer cast time. Because it costs Mana you will interrupt your Mana regeneration to cast it, and need to go out of it in order to recast Lightning Shield and such, so the idea is to walk from mob to mob at your current quest's location and use ghost wolf to move between quest locations until you get your mount, at which point you just mount and forego ghost wolf altogether. Imp Lightning Shield might not be a crazy damage increase, but neither is 1% crit while leveling, every little bit of throughput helps killing just a bit faster and lessening the chances for deaths, same with 1% dodge. If you want to be constantly weaving in and out of Ghost Wolf and are ready to accept the Mana / regen cost for doing so, feel free to swap points to it, our suggested talents are just that: suggestions! There's plenty of builds to go around in Classic ?
Guest Jack Report post Posted July 2, 2023 Hello, can you know where to put the talent every time you level up? because seen this build you only complete it at level 60 instead since it's called leveling spec it would take an overview that tells you where to put the talent every time you level up. it's possible? You should click and drag the level bar just above the talent tree to your level, that way the content of the page will adjust and you can see what progression is suggested to put talents / spell rotation for each level range. Guest hordetanksrequired Report post Posted October 1, 2023 Shaman tank is very interesting, there are many varitations for it (AoE tank, deep tank, support tank) One biggest mistake is to take Stormstrike for shaman tank, good efficient usage of Stormstrike requires Flurry (which requires Thundering Strikes, a lot talent points going elsewhere) and even so, your mana and dmg will not like results. Much better, overall option is to go for Elemental Fury (going for Elemental Mastery is not good idea, too deep on elemental tree) Basic build: 25/26/0 https://www.wowhead.com/classic/talent-calc/shaman/5523015003001-05200300505231 Single target tanky, aspect on survival, utility and shocks (not just limited on earth shock as you know it's not always best option)
