Yes, you can do it together which makes it a LOT easier. We did it with two priests in a group: one priest accepts the quest and does all the running at the gate, the other priest accepts the quest -like you would with any other regular quest started in a group- and stands perfectly still (never ever move the tiniest bit!) at the questgiver. Second priest takes over the NPCs when they come in range to heal and clean them to the finish. Not exactly sure about if healing each other would trigger the cleaner, we didn't dare to and it wasn't needed. We did it first try this way without any problems or stress at all. After all, you have twice the mana and two seperate five-second-rules for regeneration this way. Apart from a few leftover startholme waters and fire oils we didn't even need any other buffs.
