Is anyone really that attached to 2002's best effort at diverse avatars? I can't wait to use the new models, esp for Dwarves and Orcs! SparkSovereign 61 Report post Posted February 22, 2014 My guess is that it ended up being easy to do, so they threw it in to cater the tiny handful of people who like living in cartoon-land without making the rest of us suffer. I imagine there's secondary benefits for people still running the game on the computer they had back in 2002 (a surprisingly large group, as I understand). Hybrys 199 Report post Posted February 22, 2014 Yeah, I figured it would be easy to do. But, I would never ever use it, personally. For new models, it shouldn't be a huge issue on computers.
